"The only issue I had was the man that checked us in could not show us how to use the T.V. remote. We wanted to find the show listings but there was no guide button on the remote. Most odd. "

"Beautiful historic building. No elevator. Staff assisted with luggage if needed. Quiet setting with some street noise. Good water pressure in our 3rdfloor room. I couldn't open my email from Expedia, so we went in without the usual helpful/ needed information. If you want a hot breakfast, you must book it at least 24 hr in advance. Continental breakfast was sufficient. Great location."

"The Colton is fine for the price. It is conveniently located near the battlefield. It is older, it lacks some amenities, and it could use some upkeep. New bath towels would help. We did find long hairs that did not belong to us in multiple places. It is a no-nonsense place to lay your head. The staff was great. Very helpful and very friendly."
