Book a hotel near Forum The Shopping Mall, Orchard

"Absolutely recommend it. We stayed there from the 14th to the 19th of March. The best thing we did was to book into the Club Lounge. Samy and Dixon (who work in the Club Lounge) are wonderful. Awesome service, 11 out of 10. We stayed here a few years ago and was also served by Samy then and he still provides the same excellent congenial customer service. There are so many shops to explore in the area. We walked about 13,000 steps a day exploring. We booked taxis instead of buses and trains as it is not expensive. We went to the Harry Potter Visions of Magic experience and Universal Studios at Sentosa. We went to Bugis St Markets and Chinatown and explored a lot of shopping centres while looking for a particular anime figurine for a present to take home. We had to buy two extra large suitcases (good quality and only $75 each at a shopping centre close by). Toys R Us is just around the corner from the hotel. We went to the new Mandai Conservation Bird Park. If you are interested in Pop Vinyls and anime products you should check out Simply Toys, T-One, Toy Outpost and Otaku House. We regularly go to Singapore and this trip was a catch up as to what is new at Sentosa. Hard Rock Cafe is also just around the corner from the hotel (5 minute walk tops) and it is worth going to. We take regular holidays in Singapore and just run ot of time to do everything but I also recommend the Science Centre, Gardens by the Bay, Little India (SimLim Tower). Beautiful City. So much to do."

"Jen Hotel Tanglin Singapore is a decent option, but it falls short of expectations for the price point. The rooms are on the smaller side and feel a bit dated, showing clear signs that a refresh is overdue. The buffet offers a wide variety of choices, which is a plus, but the overall quality and flavor are average at best. It looks better than it tastes. Overall, the hotel is functional and in a good location, but it lacks the polish and modern feel you’d expect. A renovation would significantly improve the experience."

"Staff as the greatest asset. Polite, friendly and helpful. Good location and nice pool deck on roof, though it could do with a bit of TLC. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Just need better facilities in room such as a Nespresso machine or similar - would expect in hotel of this class/price. "
