This is by far our worst stay at a Vrbo. The studio smells musty and like someone smoked In It for years before it got remodeled ( yes we have stayed in plenty of beach front hotels) I closed my suitcase everytime of fear my clothes would smell. There is only salt and pepper so Don’t plan on cooking anything unless you bring everything, including your own pods for the coffee Maker. We came on sat and couldn’t get into room reached out to owner and no response called the emergency number (which if they don’t think it’s an emergency they charge 200). Got in and owner reached back Monday morning. When booking I knew the amenities were not available because of construction. the first morning was over an hour of constant LOUD drilling. Reached out to owner again and nothing, so called Vrbo and was on the phone for 15 min while they tried to call and then email owner. All I wanted to do besides pull my hair out was to check out for the remainder of the three days. I was willing to pay for the 2 nights we stayed and didn’t want anything extra BUT to just check out (it was 9am) 5 hours later the owner reached out and said I was fully aware the ammenties would be closed which included the pool and balcony and he talked to the front desk and they said drilling was going on only for a min at a time….. ok so I didn’t lie. I have the recording and even the Vrbo agent was like wow I can hear that and that went on the for the entire 15 phone call. Alot of other places to stay!
