MotorCity Casino Hotel
"The entire property was clean but the furnishings were showing some wear and tear. It seems like its about ready for an update. I would suggest when they update that they put in outlets or at least usb plug ins by the beds. They only place to charge my phone was on the desk across the room in the corner. The bathroom was Huge and beautiful. You can tell the property has put in the work in the bathroom. No notes. Lastly the staff. Amazing. The person who checked us in was quick to inform us of the shuttle that was taking guests to the event we were attending. Without that shuttle my entire evening would have been very different. When the event let out there was a storm coming. We hadnt been back on the shuttle long when it began to POUR rain. Traffic was absolutely gridlocked and emergency vehicles couldnt even move. The gentleman driving was professional and got us safely and dryly back to the hotel and I could not thank him enough for the service he did for us. I could not have handled that traffic. Detroit really needed a bigger traffic control presence. This place deserves 5 stars for that alone."

"I had a great view, even though it wasn’t on a high floor. The $20 breakfast buffet was meh. But the staff was great. And yes I would stay there again.."
