Three Bedroom, Two Bathroom Home on Large Private lot on the Mississippi River

Secluded cabin on the Mississippi River with a dock for fishing and tying boats, a large back yard w/ yard games, and deck space overlooking the gorgeous river with a propane BBQ, seating & an EV charger!

This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage is located near tons of lakes, rivers, hiking, biking and more. Only 15 minutes from Grand Rapids, this year-round vacation cottage is a great place for a cozy winter stay or a fun, outdoor, summer, river escape.

Please let Maria know if there is anything you need. It is our goal that this space be an escape and retreat for you however Maria is available at all times for emergencies and during standard hours to answer and resolve any non-emergency issues.

It is extremely helpful to have good contact information available for a member of your party in the event we need to contact you due to issue resolution etc. As the cell service at the Lodge is limited I will do my best to notify you ahead of time if we need to be on site for any reason but please understand that may not be possible. We will keep any disruptions to an absolute minimum.

Quiet, rural, dead-end gravel road with a couple other houses on the street.

The gravel road is a dead end road with a few neighbors within site. Plenty of parking is available anywhere in the horseshoe driveway. Please do not park on the road as a courtesy to our neighbors and take care to avoid entering any of the neighboring property. Please turn around in our driveway and do not turn around at the end of the road as that is the neighbors property who would like everyone to stay off.

The upstairs, main level includes a fully stocked kitchen, living room, 1 queen bedroom and a full bathroom. The basement includes 2 queen bedroom + bunk space, 1 office space, and a bathroom.

Plenty of parking available in the driveway. Driving required to get places.

We enjoy using Glade air fresheners in our home. If you would prefer to have these removed before your arrival please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Thank you!

Awesome lake home

Our stay at this rental was awesome. Everything was clean, updated and within close proximity to local stores and restaurants. The kitchen was more than fully stocked and the convenience of having an area fenced in for our dogs was perfect. We will go back again very soon!

Wonderful!

This property was perfect for our needs! All the little special touches made it even more welcoming and comfortable. Communication was some of the best we have experienced and everything was easy and clear to understand. Very clean! It was great that the bedrooms and bathrooms are on separate floors as we traveled with a newborn. Our only regret is not having the time to sit on the beautiful deck and enjoy the view. We will definitely stay here again.

I absolutely loved the spot. There was plenty of stuff to do in the area! The house was perfect!! They had everything set up very nicely and even had a nice black folder for suggestions on where to eat, ordering food and things to do in area. Very much appreciated the vacation spot!

Serenity with a view

Wonderful place, great view, beautifully appointed. Many thoughtful touches with comfort and convenience in mind. We grilled and ate on the deck in the evenings (the weather cooperated). We watched the loons on the river and even checked out the fire pit. Heartily recommended for a getaway!

Simply Awesome

We were doing some work in the area and found this place. They have everything you need and were very accommodating since i screwed up my initial reservation. The Cabin was perfect, and it was just nice to be able to go and relax and sit by the water. When the sun sets it is just like a scene out of movie. Also, if you're lucky enough we did get to see a family of Otters playing they were the highlight on the last night we were there.

Friends get away

It was a really clean nice place to stay, only thing said they had 3 queen beds and 1 twin but only had 2 queen beds and I twin. They did have an air mattress, which we used and all was good just thought it was all going to be beds. Nice and close to Grand Rapids to run into town to do some things the unwind wine bar was a really fun stop. I’m sure in the summer it would be beautiful there!
