During our 2 day stay there was no shampoo, soap for the shower, or conditioner provided either day. They did not replenish the complimentary candy by the bed or coffee pods after consuming them the first day. Beds were comfortable. Very large tv in the room. Room was clean. A/C unit had very loud/annoying sound whenever fan was running. Louder as fan speed increased. They are trying for a luxury experience but miss overall. Still a very nice and clean facility.

Room was asthetically beautiful. However the cleanliness could’ve been a bit better. The window sill had a few dead insects, the bathroom had some hair on the floor and in the shower. Also we were inconveniently placed on the second floor above the ballroom and a wedding reception was going on til after midnight. We heard every song, all the bass and the DJ. We heard guests around us and above us slamming doors and walking loudly about at 2am. We came for a mini staycation for our anniversary and the lack of rest we were able to get was disappointing. I did let the front desk know about this twice but wasn’t met a resolve. Just an apology and a “the entire hotel is booked” in case I wanted to switch rooms. The next night it was the same thing with a different event. So although this hotel is new and beautiful the walls and floors are SUPER THIN. Do with that information what you will. I heard entire conversations smh.

This place may look pretty in the photos, but be prepared for an ugly night of non-sleep. Was there for a sleep study prescribed by a nearby hospital. Priority 1a: Quiet. Called the hotel twice during week regarding my reason for the stay. Was assured I would be found a quiet room. Room #1: one could hear the TV blaring through paper-thin wall into the hallway, 2x worse in my room. Room #2: was quiet for 4 hours. Then the party arrived above, the the constant thuds of each step shook the matchstick-thin floors. Asked for another room from the new person at reception. was told that the hotel is full. I showed the hospital equipment, and my calls to the hotel during the week. Receptionist responded, "I'm surprised, because this hotel specializes in events ... few of our rooms are quiet. This is deception. I told the receptionist that I was leaving, and would capture my experiences on consumer forums. At least one of us followed through. I paid $153 to escape this prison called Chez Hotel. This is not really a hotel. Instead, it's a Party City hostel.

Drove up with my spouse and dog from Virginia to spend a few days with my mom who lives in the local area. Place used to be called European Crystal and apparently rebranded to Chez. Don’t know how it was before, but this place is pretty nice now. Folks were all friendly and rooms very comfortable. Huuuuge TVs on the walls, but the walls themselves were kinda thin. Noise does transfer, for sure. Beds are comfy. Rooms were clean. Towels and toiletries were nice. All in all, a great place and an unexpected find there in the ‘burbs. We didn’t spend any time on the rooftop bar, so can’t speak to that. Price seemed to be on par with other hotels in the area, and we’ve stayed at several competitors over the years. But I think we get more for our money here. Bottom line? Yes, we’d return here again.
