The hotel and our room were very dirty. Stained sheets, hair in the shower, piles of towels in the hallway from afternoon until the next morning, dirty floors, etc. We even found a couple small cockroaches in our bathroom. The pool was well chlorinated but I would never stay here again.

The staff was really nice. My children woke up Sunday morning vomiting and I felt horrible and told them about the bedding and towels being thrown up on, and they smiled and said thank you. Someone knocked on our door at 1am the first night and it scared my family out of a sleep, whoever was in the room above us was extremely noisy that even my kids who are noisy complained at bedtime.

From the time we checked in the disappointments started: The didn't tell us that there was only one elevator. Suggested we park at the end of building our room was on. We had two lug our luggage down two long hallways back to the lobby to get elevator to go up to 3rd floor. (We are senior citizens) then tried to turn on light inside door. Light was burnt out. Could not heat up our food in microwave (found it unplugged because there wasn't enough plug in where it was located: tv, refrigerator were plugged in but no other plug for microwave available w/o unplugging something) Husband went down to front desk because the telephone in room wasn't working either. The guy at front desk said he didn't have any light bulbs and said to to unplug something to use microwave. I tried to turn the furnace on because room was so cold the thermostat wasn't working and when I tried to turn on tv, it didn't work either. Checked and it didn't have batteries in it. So husband went back down to front desk, to report the issues in the room. The guy told him he couldn't do anything at desk to solve issues. He did however suggest that to try the remote in the bedroom to see if it worked. Husband asked to move to another room but was told the hotel was full and didn't have another room to move us to. He also asked for a box of Kleenex but was told he didn't have that either at the desk. If it wasn't so late we would of left and found another hotel.

While the property is under construction there are some things to expect with that. However getting into a made bed to find dirty sheets with food crumbs in the beds is not right. This means the room is not clean, floors in the room were very dirty (brand new socks walking from bed area to bathroom became quite soiled) for a wood surface floor. The bath was dangerous with sharp metal braces exposed in the shower and it was also not clean. Rooms were poorly marked and no directions were given on how to find our rooms at all.
