The Paramount Hotel
"Perfect location, staff went above and beyond to help us as soon as we walked thru the door, rooms were immaculate, the coffee in the lobby by the fireplace with lots of couch and chair seating was a nice touch, and both restaurants were delicious and after seeing Portland all day it was nice to have 2 different bars to relax and converse with people before heading up to the room ... the $10.oo per day to use on food or alcohol was a nice surprise also ... I used it on wine and food throughout my stay ... this will be my ONLY place to stay when we return to Portland ... and I hope Eric is still the concierge - he truly went beyond for us"
