Crown Spa Hotel Scarborough by Compass Hospitality
We have stayed at the crown spa before and love the location. We had a sea view room which was a generous size with great view. There were a few disappointments this time though. The main one being that the bathroom had a smell to it (possibly coming from the drains) and if the door was left open ...

Gilson Hotel
My initial room was unclean. There were hairs and bits of crumbs(?) on the duvet. Also, the heating didn’t work in this room. The room I was reallocated to was cleaner but the heating still wasn’t great. Staff were relatively helpful in changing my room and giving me a portable heater.
