New Haven Hotel
"The location is perfectly central to the downtown area. A lot of stores are in walking distance. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The main floor area was very well kept especially where the microwave was. The room was a nice size. I had the 2 queen beds. My sister and I had enough space so that we weren't in each other's way. Beds were nice and comfy. I have pain in my lower back, so I was pleased that it wasn't too soft or too hard. The bathroom was nice size and I didn't feel like everything was on top of each other. Does anybody have flavored coffee creamer anymore??? Not a Starbucks coffee drinker, but flavored coffee creamer would make it more tolerable for those of us that don't drink or support them. (Just my lil ole 2 cent) ********************************************* Parking is across the street from the hotel. Parking garage is well lit, no traffic jams finding a space to park (we were there for the weekend). My only disappointment was that after all I spent to be there comfortably, I still had to pay for parking. It was one flat price (24 or 26 a day?) and you could come and go as much as you wanted... but this seems to be the new norm of paying for parking. It tends to be an inconvenience if you don't budget for it. I can understand if you were using the valet service. Maybe you're room key get you in and out, but at the end of the day it's still an added expense."
