"What a surprise! The room is smaller than I expected, but so well designed. The bed was very, very comfortable. And the price was right. I appreciated the free drinking water. Wi-Fi is free however I was not able to connect and was very disappointed. Also, there was no coffee machine in the room, which surprised me, but it helped motivate me to get moving in the morning. I will definitely stay here again. "

"Fantastic hotel, the room was very spacious and comfortable and the reception staff were great too. Worth remembering that you need to pay 12.5% of room value per stay, upon arrival for city tax, as we had ignorantly missed that. Will definitely stay again - good location, amazing views and those big windows are something special. They also went out of their way to help celebrate my husbands birthday, massively impressed"

"Staff were excellent. Helpful and friendly. The room was pleasant. Breakfast was good. I would have preferred a walk-in shower. Rooms were advertised as having either a walk-in shower or a bath. I wasn't asked about my preference when I arrived. I have arthritis in one of my knees and stepping over the bath is starting to get difficult. It's not really an issue for the hotel but the taxi that was arranged to take us to the Centraal Station on our departure was a hassle. The driver wanted to sell us train tickets and then wanted to drive us to Schiedam for 150 euros. I couldn't see a meter in the cab and was surprised when he charged 35 euros. "
