Love the location of the hotel and the staff. The room was comfortable. Two small things can be corrected: 1) The faucet of the bathroom sink is too close to the rim of the sink. Turing on the faucet causes spill of water out of the sink. 2) The coffee maker, situated on a tray on top of the refrigerator could not be used as its electric cord is too short to reach the electric outlet. To my wife's question about this problem the receptionist said that "we are working on it". This problem could have been solve by simply providing a 0.5 to 1 meter long extension cord.

The room was decent but could tell there is damage on the ceiling, the roof of the shower, the trimming of the tiles were yellow and the sink tubes were exposed. There was also a stain on the rug in the room.The stay was still great due to the location and the quietness of the hotel at night.

This is a very nice hotel in an excellent location. I selected it because the Rijkmuseum and Van Gogh Museum are an easy walk away, but was delighted to discover the Vondelpark right next door.

Perfectly situated for a trip to Amsterdam! Our room was super quiet. We opted for a Junior suite and loved the extra space. The room felt like it needed a refresh for the amount we paid. The bed was comfy and we enjoyed the breakfast. All the museums are very close and the chicest shopping street is very near as well. I would stay again but it would have to be a lower price point.

Hotel was beautiful (and swanky!) and super well located for so many things, especially if you plan on seeing the Rijks and Van Gogh Musuems. Oh, and right next to Vondelpark! Great cafe's nearby, too. On a busy street, but didn't hear the traffic at all from inside. Close to several train lines and a direct bus route straight to Schipol which was a life-saver. We booked a boat cruise directly across the street and couldn't have been easier.

Excellent location, but the hotel was really disappointing. Lobby and our floor’s hall were really dimly lit. Our room was small, but that is not the worst part! There were two separate stalls in the room for shower (you really can’t really call it a bathroom) and toilet. And they were tiniest a hotel can have. It is tough for an adult to even maneuver in the shower stall. Compared to its room rents, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all.
