Lovely hotel and quiet. We stayed outside the city so that it was cheaper and this was a nice area.

Not much good to say this time. We enjoyed the event but the food was possibly one of the worst I have ever had at a large venue like this. For $80 a plate8 expected the food to be at least edible, but the carrots could not be cut with a laser, the beans were not cooked, the asparagus was stringy. The only things on my plate I could eat was the The room was ok, some pieces of paper tacked to bathroom wall, view of a rooftop ... this seems to be a trend with Travelocity rooms, we seem to get the worse rooms in the hotel when in theory, we are supposed to be getting a great deal on a deluxe room. Never happens.

When I arrived I was asked if it was my first time staying at the Crown Plaza. I informed her it was and she kindly welcomed me and shared some of the amenities about the hotel. What I was disturbed about was my boyfriend informing me that the staff was manipulative. My boyfriend had expressed some discomfort with his heart burn and requested a near by store. The staff at the bistro encourage him to go to the front desk for help. The staff at the front took out her personal heart burn pills and charged my boyfriend 12 dollars for 6 pills. My assumption is that crown plaza staff do not authorize those practices. It made him feel uncomfortable and he expressed frustration.
