Beds comfortable and rooms cute. Area not ideal to find at night especially as a woman on her own. Valet parking was not available when I arrived late - front desk allow me to park directly outside the door, I was not comfortable leaving my car on the street in that area but it was the only option. property was advertised as having breakfast included. Breakfast consisted of coffee in the lobby and day old croissants

The location of this hotel is great for walkability within northeast Portland and the look of the hotel is nice. Unfortunately our room was dirty - empty cans left in the mini fridge, no body wash in the shower, sticky spot on the floor, sheets were dirty, etc. and the hotel itself was extremely loud. The floors are old wood floor and you can hear everyone walking and closing doors all night long. It is next to some construction as well, which was not advertised. Our bathroom also didn’t have a sink in it… you had to walk around the room to use the sink and mirror after showering or using the bathroom. I don’t recommend the hotel based on our stay.

Really cute hotel, nicely atmosphere. The stag was very friendly. It’s at a convenient area for restaurants and other things near downtown. However, there is only street parking or valet parking which costs an additional fee. Also, granted it was during the winter storm but the heater in my room was not sufficient. Even at the highest setting it was very cold. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay.

The staff were warm and welcoming, they did their best to accomodate early check-in with the storm ongoing and tried to continuously keep rooms warm and comfortable. I believe, due to the age of the building, the rooms were not well-insulated enough to stave off all of the cold, but the comfortable bed and abundant blankets certainly made up for it!
