"Business trip/Family vacation"
My husband had an interview the first weekend in December, and we decided to make a family trip out of it. I had heard that Circus Circus is a good place if you have kids. I really appreciate that the hotel is a bit north of most of the action on the Strip, so we didn't have a lot of noise or heavy traffic to worry about. The hotel entrance is a bit difficult to find at first, but once you get your bearings it is easy to get around. Check-in was swift and trouble-free (the young lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful; I am very sorry that I cannot remember her name). We had reserved a room in the West Tower, but were given a courtesy upgrade to the Casino Tower. Our room was quite spacious and clean. My kids enjoyed the circus acts on the Midway (we saw a clown and a pair of stunt skaters). Our stay was very enjoyable, except for one big thing our second night. My husband reported in the morning that he had been unable to sleep much due to a LOT of noise in the room next door. The connecting door doesn't keep any noise out! Luckily it was the night after my husband's interview, and the kids slept through the whole thing (otherwise, my husband would have alerted management). Check-out was, again, quick and worry-free, thanks to the helpful young man at the Mail/Information desk. Las Vegas is not our family's preferred vacation spot, but this was a fun trip and if we are in town again, we will return to Circus Circus.

"Great Hotel with easy access to the strip"
The Vdara is an outstanding non gambling casino on the strip. Easy walking to the Bellagio on one side and on the other side easy walking to the Aria and Cosmopolitan. Its my favorite hotel in Vegas. Less crowded than the much larger hotels and in my opinion very clean well appointed and convenient. There is not a full service restaurant at the Vdara but there is a great little cafe/store in the lobby with great breakfast, lunch and dinner, but does close at 11pm I think, but the adjacent hotels at no more than a 3 min walk have plenty of restaurants. There is also a great bar in the lobby and a Starbucks for coffee drinkers. As of now it is the only hotel I like to stay in when I'm in Vegas.

"Christmas in Las Vegas"
We stayed 5 nights at the Luxor, in Las Vegas. Out of every hotel it was our favorite. It was clean, the staff were friendly and it was easy to navigate. The Luxor is wide open and has a great layout unlike other hotels that force you through the casino. See the Titanic Exhibit!! The Luxor is older and could use some updating. We stayed in the Tower on the 16th floor with views of the Mountains. Rori, who worked on the Casino floor was wonderful. She showed us how to use the machines, as this was our first time gambling. The Irish Pub in the shopping district between Excalibur and Luxor is a must visit! Also, if your looking for fun and interactivity see the Tournament of Kings, it was amazing!! Oh, and sit in the Dragon section. Le Reve at the Wynn was the most fantastic show. Expensive but the best production show in Las Vegas. For your last night eat at the, 'On the Top Restaurant' at the Stratosphere Hotel. Amazing views, amazing food paired with wine. Tips: Play My Vegas! Use the vouchers as much as possible and bring a few extra. Sometimes even after reading the fine print, they can't be vouchered. The $20 Tip Trick worked! Look it up on Youtube. Almost everywhere you go professional Photographers ask to take your pic for a buck. It's super expensive! The biggest Photography company in Las Vegas is Cashman Photo. Let them take your photo and get the receipt with barcode. This will allow you to order them online for a 3rd of the cost. Have Fun!

"Nice"
My Hubby and I spent from Dec 23 - 26 at the Aria.    Our room was over all clean and comfortable. The Beds are very comfy!!    But with my hubby's allergies,  I did notice that  the night tables and other shelves were quit dusty......  Also know that  the Mini-bar is weighted.  Even if you move something they will charge you $50 a day ...... Crazy!   Needless to say, we didn't even open the fridge.   There were plenty of nice restaurants to choose from. A couple of which we ate at.  The food was always very good.    The buffet was fairly expensive.  $75.00 for both of us to have brunch there.  Drinks were around $11 - $12 each.... good thing we aren't big drinkers.    We also were disappointed because they didn't have any tables that were under $25 to play at.      Over all,  we would stay there again and recommend to friends and family.

"Better than expected!"
Read many reviews here of this hotel and was worried going in, but spent a great week. If you are looking for marble bathrooms or 2 room suites go to Bellagio or Caesars Palace or Aria, but if you are looking for a clean room with a GREAT pool them this is your place. Yes we smelled the "chemical" odor that many have written about but to us it smelled clean, it means they were cleaning! Yes it smells ALOT of cigarette smoke, but that is The fault of the smokers, not Excalibur. Yes there are salespeople at every entrance but if you politely say no thank you they let you on your way.The Excalibur is nothing fancy but it gets the job done at a very reasonable price. We plan on staying there again next time!

"Wonderful staff, great room"
My husband and I stayed at this Courtyard by Marriott in Henderson for 3 nights with our 3-yr-old daughter. The room was quite comfortable with a king bed and sofa bed for our daughter. An amazing point in our stay was a sympathy card left in our door by the night desk employees, Jose and Alex, when they learned the reason for our stay was for the funeral of my husband's stepdad. That was above and BEYOND the call of duty, and it meant a lot to us!

"Good Location"
Beautiful hotel centrally located. Tram runs from Monte Carlo to Bellagio. However, we saw no signs for the tram until we walked to the Aria, got on the tram and then saw it went to the Monte Carlo. Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, we waited 30 minutes to check in. With almost 3,000 rooms, should have been more employees. Also, the Concierge line was always long. The pool and lazy river were very nice and the Food Court was great for a reasonably priced breakfast and lunch. Casino had too many old machines which were extremely tight. I had read that the Monte Carlo was recently updated. I don't know what was updated but it wasn't our room. Mold stains around edge of tub and chairs and carpet stained. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

"Forum tower suite experience"
We got a deal from secret hotels for a "classic room" and after reading alot of horrible reviews about the Roman tower I was determined to not be put therE. Ofcourse when we got there the "classic" was a room in the Roman tower and we upgraded to Forum suite for 50 bucks. The room was amazing, super clean ,comfortable bed, the bathroom had a jacuzzi and a tv in the mirror Which was pretty awesome! And the bathroom looked freshly renovated ! They charge a daily resort fee of 33 bucks incl tax so beware! Anything you pick up from the fridge will be charged automatically as well! Overall a very nice and fancy hotel. Except for the roman tower. Pricey but nice

"Vegas First Timer"
My fiancé and I decided to tie the knot in Vegas- we brought a group of 10 people with us and all stayed at Planet Hollywood- location is freaking fantastic!!! We were able to walk pretty much anywhere except to our chapel- but the limos are pretty cheap when split 3/4 ways! Hopping from casino to casino if you like gambling is super easy. I loved the mall (Miracle Mile Mall) it had nice shops that cater more towards the average person. My only real complaint- in the rooms themselves- dust, missing handles, burnt out lights. The upkeep is a little lacking, but as we weren't in the room all that much we looked past it. We had a fantastic time at Planet Hollywood- oh and if you like coffee Planet Dailes is the place to be- cheap, never ending, excellent coffee! ** Pink's hotdogs in Planet Hollywood is Awesome aswell. We will be back many times over.
