Nice, private hotel right on the beach

You drive up several floors of parking structure to reach the lobby, and you have to pass through two gates, so it’s a very secure and private hotel. The place looked nice and the ground were pretty clean. Our room could have been a bit cleaner- I sat on the carpet to mess with my luggage right after we got there and the carpet was a bit dirty. Inside the drawers were a bit dirty as well. The view was spectacular. It was overall a good stay.

Don't listen to bad reviews - the Hotel is Awesome

Pros: Room-Staff-Location
Cons: Because the water is so bad in Florida - it would be nice to have a service where you can purchase a case and have it delivered to the room.
Location: Bars - dancing - Jazz - beach -shopping
We stayed here during Spring Break March 3-March 10 - The views were great (there really isn't a bad view). The staff was very attentive and helpful. Our room was nice size and had a kitchen (large Fridge) and big bathroom. The couch bed was comfortable. The Balcony was very roomy and had a table with two chairs. Remember if its Spring break for the colleges and High-schools - no matter where you go in Lauderdale it will be noisy outside the hotel and packed with College Kids. We expected that but love the convenience that this hotel is in the middle of everything. YES YES we will definitely come back here again. There were plenty of adult activities such-as; Margarita and bloodymary night - Salsa dancing - Jazz - Mimosa Bingo and plenty more. The pool was roomy and had plenty of towels and chairs that you could check out for the beach (free). The time share is something you should look into if you go yearly to Florida.

Not Really a Marriott

Uber driver drove around for about 10 minutes trying to find this place. Finally stopped at Ritz Carlton. Turns out you have to enter a parking garage and go up four floors to get to the check-in! There is no restaurant in this hotel. It is next to a mall with various places to eat. Not what we were expecting for a quick stay on our way to Port Everglades for a cruise. Probably better for a one week stay at the beach.

Room was nice. Not a lot of food options after 6pm. Parking is a nightmare.

about the most disappointing hotel stay

Pros: the fact that I did not spend any money for food , and experience made me appreciate Hilton Hotels
Cons: go to nearest Hampton Inn, This is how hotel people are supposed to act and services provided for weary travelers
Location: traffic was wonderful we got to sit in it for better part of hour. by the time we got to where we were going it was time to ugh I forget what where
hotel was not up to a standard average stay. room was small . hotel offered no coffee for morning start, no restaurant to have a breakfast. staff said there was none ,but they just might not have known it's location.and i believe must have been in a high crime area as we had a pass key for elevator to go up or down one to get your car one to get in one to get out.no need to change any thing ,i will not be back.

Nice hotel

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The hotel was very nice, however the only entrances are through the parking garage, which was very annoying. The elevators were EXTREMELY slow, which was awful. Our room was very clean, had a beautiful view, and had a mini kitchen, which made it easy for us. The gym was nice, pool was nice, but hot tub wasn't ever warm. I didn't like that you had to pay for room service if you wanted it. The store inside was outrageously priced. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. Held our bags for us and let us check in earlier and check out later. Free wifi was good. Was very quiet inside, even when we were there with a lot of spring breakers! They at least need a free breakfast! Overall, good hotel, overly priced by a lot. But it's right on the beach.
