Safe Quiet and 10 min from TCHS

My family (myself, husband and our daughters 11&13) rented the house while we were in town to horse show for TCHS spring II and III. Location was perfect. We rented 2 paddle boards from The River Outfitters. They delivered them to the house.

What a charming and perfect little lake cottage.

We weren't sure what to expect renting this location, as we have never explored the Williamsburg area, but the photos looked really nice, and we are very thankful we made the choice to book. This is a fantastic little cottage on the lake, that we cannot wait to book again in the future.

Amazing!

The house was on the lake and convenient to town. We were able to see the sand dunes, Mackinac bridge, rented a boat and spent time at Torch lake and enjoyed Lake Skegemog in the backyard!

Private getaway close to Traverse!

Rented this property for a long weekend in October. The colors up north are beautiful, and the view over the lake was wonderful! The house itself is a great size. Nice living/dining combo and kitchen. Beds have sufficient room to spread out and lay suitcases open. The mattresses themselves are a bit firm, so if you prefer a softer mattress, bring a mattress topper or something along those lines. Property itself was large. Didn’t use much outside as it was pretty chilly, but I could imagine a nighttime fire outside while hearing the waves upon the shore would be magical! Great communication with the property manager. She was very clear with instructions and reached out before, during, and after our stay to ensure everything was good. Overall, a great stay!

Great weekend getaway!

The Cozy Cottage was very clean, comfortable, and is a beautiful setting on Elk Lake. The owners have provided everything we needed to relax, cook, and hangout. Definitely our new favorite place for our annual getaway.

Fantastic stay

This property is in a great location. We loved mooring our boat on the mooring buoy and just hopping on it when we wanted to head to Torch Lake or Elk Lake. So this is in a prime location. The place had everything we needed. Kristen was very helpful in all aspects, even finding the perfect restaurant for us. Thanks Kristen.

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful view of the lake. Owner was accommodating of our request for fragrance free cleaning products. A small welcome package with local goods was a nice touch.

Beautiful view and property

The house was extremely comfortable with six adults. The house was immaculate. Lots of towels. Special little packages for the fire which was really nice. Amazing lawn and view. Close to everything. Super fun! I will definitely return.

Great cottage!

Even though we picked the worst week for vacation due to all the rain, we had the best time! The cottage was clean and nicely decorated. We also appreciated that it was well stocked. Kirsten was super helpful and gave us ideas of places to go on our rainy days. The neighbors were very friendly, too. I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic!!!

This was my first VRBO booking and it couldn't have been better. The property owner was very friendly, communicated with us well and very helpful. The setting/location of this house is BEAUTIFUL. I can't say enough good things about this trip. Only thing that I would have made the trip a little better would have been a dishwasher, this house does not have one. 5 STARS!!!

Perfect lake getaway

Excellent experience. Home is clean, updated, and as pictured/described. Beautiful lot on a quiet lake... Just far enough from surrounding towns to be chill and relaxing, but close enough to be convenient to shopping, restaurants, and activities. Great communication and attentiveness from Kirsten. Perfect property for a relaxing northern MI getaway! We will definitely be back.

Excellent Lake Front Property

Wonderful lake home with easy access to Elk and Torch Lake. Not the most modern of homes but perfect for a family getaway on the lake. The owner was easy to work with and flexible. The lady who comes to water the plants was friendly and fun to talk with. The dock was old but easy to tie our pontoon up to for the day for easy access to the water.

Great location for northern Michigan getaway...

Great location to enjoy northern Michigan wineries. Very easy drive to Old Mission and very helpful to have a grocery store, gas station, and restaurant all about 10 minutes away. Property was in nice shape and has a beautiful view on the lake. Thanks!
