Banging the Head, Unless Bent Double
A place called "The Loft" certainly lived up to its name, because it was a converted loft, with sloping ceilings, so I couldn't stand upright, and kept banging my head. I'm 6 foot tall, and some of the bangs were very painful indeed. It also has a shower fitted, which was nice and hot all the time, but having a shower was a disaster, for the same reason. (The sloping ceiling). Parking was a nightmare, as the nearest free parking was about 10mins walk from the flat. Finally, there was only one mirror available, and that was in the bathroom. Nightmare when girl friend has to get ready for a night out, but you cant make any move in case you steam up the mirror, so bottom line is you have to wait until she's ready.
On the final day, met a guy from one of the flats downstairs who told me that first time there, they'd stayed in "The Loft", and it was a bloody nightmare from banging their head on the beams. He didn't know at that stage, that's where I was staying.
Bottom line, I'm afraid I wont be staying there again.
