This home was just as listed. Really neat house nicely re-done and updated. Nice little living room space for TV time. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was really nice . All bedrooms were very nice. Both bathrooms were clean and updated as well. Outdoor space was really neat just too cold when we were there to enjoy it. As listed there is a railroad track behind the home but wasn’t a reason not to stay there in my opinion. We visited the Ark encounter and the Creation Museum during our visit and this home is located between the 2 and close to Florence for plenty of dining and shopping choices .

We were in town for just a short weekend, but we would definitely go back and stay again. It’s beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed. The only problem with 6 people staying is that there isn’t indoor seating for 6 to eat.

The property was amazing. Comfortable beds, roomy and located perfectly between the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. We did hear the train, but it was not a big deal. Kinda cool actually. If we ever get that part of the country again, we would ABSOLUTELY stay at this rental again.

My husband and I brought our two widowed grandmothers to stay here for the weekend so they could see the Ark and Creation museum. This home was perfectly located between both! The house was so clean and so well stocked! The hosts were quickly communicative if we needed something! The second we walked in it felt like home! The hosts truly think of everything you’d need to stay here with the upmost comfortability! My grandmothers raved about the decor, high-end bedding, and fully stocked kitchen! We would 100% recommend this home to anyone and stay here again!

Cozy, Comfy, Beautiful and Perfectly Located!

Fantastic Stay!!We absolutely loved our stay here! The place was super clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated—like something out of a magazine. It had everything we needed and more, and you can tell the owners really put thought and care into every detail. Nothing was spared when it came to comfort and style.The location was a huge bonus—just a short drive from the airport and perfectly situated between the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. It made exploring both attractions so easy and convenient.Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area. We’d definitely stay again!

Good Stay

Nice house with easy access and good parking. Beautifully decorated with nice rooms sizes with all bedrooms on the second floor. Beds were very comfy. Overall we had a very nice stay during our visot to the area. It is very close to train tracks but they were not overly loud as they went by.

All of us were very impressed with our stay at this property in Walton. It was perfectly situated for our trip to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. The house was very well equipped, super organized and very clean. We really liked the fact a restaurant was just a short walk away.

Even better than expected!

This historic home was perfect for our group of 4 senior adults, and when we walked in, it felt so friendly and welcoming! The kitchen and eating area are spectacular, and the beds were super comfy. It was handy to have one bathroom downstairs and one upstairs with the bedrooms. We didn't need to use the laundry area, but I wish mine at home looked like that! The living room is set up perfectly for sitting and chatting and the porch and back patio are wonderful. The location was perfect for visiting The Ark and the Creation Museum. The house is easy to access, but set back from the street, with ample, private parking. The whole area is so beautiful and you can even walk to get ice cream! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.

Fall Get-away

The host was great to work with. Everything explained in the listing was accurate. The home was very clean and contained all the needed appliances. we especially enjoyed the newly remodeled home but also the period trim that was kept by the owners to give this home a special nostalgic feeling. Next time we are up that way we will book with them again.
