Hotel Cade
"Major disappointment – the room did not match the booking, the heating did not work, and there was no hot water We booked an “Exclusive Double Room” for one night through Expedia, for 2 people, explicitly listed in the description as having “1 Double Bed.” The room description also listed “heating” as one of the amenities. Based on the photos, it was supposed to be one of the stylish rooms with a double bed, a distinctive atmosphere, and vintage furnishings. In reality, we were given a completely different room: a sterile-looking triple room with plain white walls, no decorations or character whatsoever, and three separate single beds. Two of the beds were simply pushed together, with a visible gap between the mattresses (so, not a double bed), and there was a third bed in the room as well. Just like on the pushed-together beds, there was also a towel and toiletries placed on the third bed, as if the room had actually been prepared for three people. This does not match the description “1 Double Bed” or the photos presented during booking. Instead of a stylish “exclusive double room,” we got what felt more like a basic triple/family room. Another problem came up in the evening. The room was cold and the radiators were not heating at all. There was no heating control in the room; it appeared to be a central heating system. When we called the hotel contact number, we were told that “nothing could be done” about the heating. We were not offered a portable heater or even extra "
