Holiday Club Ähtäri Cottages
"Cottage itself in appearance was to expectation including fireplace, sauna in-house and so on. However there were some drawbacks, not many matches to light fire, TV barely had any working channels, no supply of tea or coffee like usually would expect and while log are handy for a fire there wasn’t a lot of bark to help start the fire. Another thing that bothered us was location. While yes these cottages are in a scenic location it is quite isolated. Only one train station nearby with one train heading in and out each day, no other forms of public transport like Uber or taxi and can’t even order food online for delivery. Also, no provided wifi which I think is quite unfair considering how isolated this location is cause even with data roaming there isn’t a whole lot of service. I think this accommodation is good if you’re looking for some time away from society. It is quiet and not many people around plus it has many nice views to enjoy. However, I would encourage people to plan ahead this includes bringing supplies such as groceries, a car if possible such as a rental, plenty of data and if too expensive pre-download things and plan trains ahead of time and have back up for things "
