Room was nice, staff were friendly. Breakfast was the worst on this trip, coffee was just bad. Not a lot of choices. We would have used the restaurant for dinner but it didn’t open till 8pm, there was nothing around to eat.

Communication was a real problem. I wonder if staff were discouraged from trying to understand English. My Italian came from Google translate and even that was a disaster. Staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel location is far from the city centre and no good places to eat. There was a convenience store at the gas station called Autogrill which was open and had limited options.

I liked the look of the Marchesina Hotel. Very spacious, easy flow, lots of areas to sit, Our particular room, a little needy for traveling tourists with suitcases and places to hang toiletrybag, towels. I would say a little upgrade is needed in respect to tourists needs in a oom.
