We had a lovely stay here. The hotel itself was incredibly cozy and charming. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was fantastic! Breakfast was complete with a daily menu of simple, savory and sweet options served to you by a kind, energetic staff. We also highly recommend having the afternoon snack. We had a delicious tomato soup that were still talking about! We would highly recommend this hotel, and plan to stay again when we’re next in Victoria!

We’re a couple in our mid-30s visiting from California and we genuinely don’t have a single negative thing to say about our stay at the Abigail Hotel! From the moment we walked into our room, we were greeted with a handwritten birthday card, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and delicious cookies. It was the best way to start our trip and a sign of how attentive the staff would be throughout our stay. Every interaction was positive and the breakfast each morning was fantastic. The location was also perfect. It was close enough to walk to everything we wanted to explore downtown, yet still quiet and relaxing when we returned to the hotel. One moment that really stood out happened on a day we skipped housekeeping. We were in a rush to leave one day, so we left the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. When we returned later, we found a basket filled with everything housekeeping would have refreshed with a note encouraging us to take what we needed since we asked them not to do it for us. We’ve never had a hotel do that before, and it truly highlighted the above-and-beyond level of care. Our stay felt personal, comfortable, and genuinely appreciated from start to finish. We highly recommend the Abigail Hotel to anyone visiting the area and will absolutely stay here again.

We recommend highly a stay at Abigail’s Hotel. The Vine Room on the second floor was very comfortable, tastefully decorated, with a quiet, relaxed feel. Spacious and always very clean. Our 5-night stay was wonderful. There is no elevator in that section but we didn’t mind the two flights of stairs. Keeps us fit! The staff were attentive, helpful, friendly, professional, and efficient - all qualities that leave a lasting impression. Abigail’s is on a quiet cul-de-sac in a residential area and yet within walking distance or a few minutes drive from the centre of Victoria and the harbour. A lovely neighbourhood for a walk and near some good restaurants. Definitely a very special place for a lovely stay. The breakfasts are indeed as delicious and varied as many guests have exclaimed upon.
