Disappointment
First the positives, the location is amazing! It's a nice walk into Vail village and the surrounding area is beautiful. The reason for such a poor review was because the property is not what we thought it would be. The bedrooms for the most part do not have real closets. My wife and I planned to be there for three weeks, and we had to stay in a bedroom that had two beds, because the master where the king was did not have a closet and the bathroom was small. Additionally, the Master was facing into the sun, so the room was warm, due to no AC.
The other issue is there is no pantry, we used the bedroom off the kitchen as a Pantry. The backyard is surrounded with Aspen trees and is beautiful, but in the sun all day. When we arrived it was filthy, we complained, and they cleaned it. We did not use it because the furniture was just a table with no umbrella and the table was old, warped and very unformattable. Also, the backyard had a large ant problem. We ended up leaving a week early because nether me or my wife slept well. She was right next to the window and said she had problems breathing and her chest was tight. She decided to do some looking around and discovered there was a strong gas order by the window she was sleeping by. We also discovered a Raydon system in the home that has to do with gas. We complained about the gas issue and said we were leaving. We expected much more for the money we were paying and how it was presented. It's also a duplex, so it's not private.
