Tybee Island beach

Lacking basic amenities in the kitchen. . The beach access description wasn't even accessible as described in the overview of the property, it was clearly marked Private drive and property and we couldn't park where the beach was .The neighborhood pool was over 2 miles away from the house which we never did use. The Jets on the jacuzzi tub were only half working even after the plumber came out to fix it. Overall the house was comfortable but could use some updates. King size bed in the guest room needs to. E replaced.

Perfect vacation spot

We loved our stay at Tybee.We were visiting my sister and this was a great stay.Everyday there was a nice surprise.We watched dolphins at the private beach on the bay, shopped at a local shopping stop that was 2 blocks away.Plenty to do at the house if it rained, but it didn’t.Savannah was close by. The pool was really nice, just wish it was closer.There was plenty of supplies to cook meals when we wanted to stay in. Will definitely love to come back.

Great family fun rental!

We went on a short vacation with 5 adults and (1) 10 year old. There was a ton of space, the rooms are super nice and roomy, such a great place for family fun, or a gathering of adults. We played ping pong every night. Great location that's close to so much!

Great house with game room

we chose to stay at this listing as we were looking for house with 4 bedrooms for our family of 5 adults and a dog. The spacious house had a lower level perfect for entertainment with a large TV, ping pong, foosball and shuffleboard tables. The location offered privacy(culdesac) but was also near a walking trail that led to beach. we could easily travel to Savannah as it was right off of the highway. Check in was easy and pictures/description of house are accurate. Since it was off-season, we did not utilize the pool or outdoor areas, but there are 2 nice balconies that I could see myself sitting and enjoying coffee and a good book!

Great stay for the holiday

We had an amazing stay at the Southern Belle Vacation Rentals property! The house was absolutely beautiful, and the location couldn’t have been better—easy to get to and surrounded by stunning scenery. It was an easy, short walk to the beach, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The gaming area on the first floor was a big plus for our family, adding to the fun and relaxation. The entire process, from booking to check-out, was seamless, and we were very happy with how everything was handled. No complaints, although a few more bars of soap and additional bath towels would have been appreciated given the size of the house and the number of people in our party. Other than that, everything was fantastic. It was the perfect getaway. Highly recommend!

Great location for beach trip - work cation though?

Wonderful location for a stay at Tybee. Private beach that is walkable. Grocery stores close by. However, the wireless internet is substantially sub par. If you're doing a working vacation it'll be shortfall. TV's at the property rely on the streaming services as well so that's another off shoot. Pretty place. Will work best if you're looking to completely disconnect.

This home is outstanding!

We had such an incredible stay at this property! The space was perfect for our family. With 4 boys 17-19 you really need the space. The distance to the beach was just through the Alley. I loved how close it was to the beach and the outdoor showers! It was really nice and the employees that i had to text when i did have a problem(the washer accidentally ripped some towels) were really nice about everything!

Overall a great vacation and beautiful property. The TV is the Master did not have any inputs available to allow you to watch TV. Not a huge deal but annoying. Also, there was not any “dust” for the shuffleboard table. Other than that, we were pleased.

Wonderful

"Unfortunately," the washing machine was out of commission. It was in the process of being replaced. I use quotes because who wants to do laundry on vacation?!? Yes, it would have been nice to do laundry, but since we couldn't, Southern Belle made sure we had enough clean towels to last the week. The place was gorgeous, the private beach exquisite, food divine. We would love to go back to the exact same house. Beautiful!!!!

Overall a great experience

Good location in a quiet neighborhood. Property was is good condition overall with some minor issues - Bar stool was broken or very unstable, oven drawer was broken, grout missing in bathroom tile, and some window treatments that did not work. What you would expect for a rental property. Overall it was a great house for a family of 7 to get away for an extended weekend. Close to the beach with lots of space and activities included. I would recommend to others.

Almost perfect!

The pool not being at location was our ONLY complaint! The house was amazing! Fully stocked on everything! Clean! So spacious! Very short walk to beach! The beach had 20 people AT MOST the entire time we were there! Very cool shells! Go at sunrise and you’ll see ALOT of sea life on the beach ! Our favorite part was we watched dolphins EVERYDAY! It was so awesome to see! Key code is used for doors so you don’t have to keep up with keys! Outside shower to wash off the sand. It’s fenced in so you can let your puppers out and about with no worries!! Games GALORE for the kids downstairs! Everyone loved all the bathrooms and HUGE jacuzzi! Quiet yet convenient to grocery stores and shopping! Southern Belle was VERY quick to replying with any questions we had which was so nice! I would HIGHLY recommend this place as we are now a TYBEE BEACH is our new favorite vacation spot! Just go!!

Great North Beach location

Large, clean, and convenient home with lots of games and extras. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach and local shops. This home is on the quieter and less used north end of the island and was really peaceful. No complaints for our last minute get away.

All in all a nice place

We stayed from Thurs to Mon for a long weekend w/ family. We had grandparents, parents & teens w/ us. The good: The downstairs allows a perfect area for the kids/teens to have their own space away from the grownups & with two pullout couches & a bed there was plenty of room for them down there. The upstairs was also spacious, clean & well decorated & kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels & linens were included, nice big space for everyone (we were a party of 10). The not so good (but not terrible): When we arrived there was some trash & “construction” material left all over the floor downstairs. Looks like someone was building an ikea dresser or something, didn’t finish & left it laying around. We did contact mgmt to let them know & they offered to have someone come move it immediately. I said no thanks & just piled it to the side. I believe it was listed as 3 bathrooms but in actuality it’s two full baths & two half baths. The half bath downstairs has a tiny toilet & a sliding door that doesn’t feel super private or lock. It wasn’t horrible but two showers for ten people was tight. The pool was our biggest disappointment. If you aren’t there waiting at 10am don’t plan to use it. There are a total of TWO parking spaces allotted for the pool that all of their properties have access to. Otherwise you have to find street or lot parking near by which is almost impossible on a weekend in the summer. The kids were pretty bummed about that.

Fun and quiet getaway

Enjoyed the games and amenities. Found the public beach access at Byers Street to be an easier walk than the access through the private gate. Great to have an outside shower for rinsing off sand before coming inside. A few maintenance items need to be addressed - like broken tile edging on kitchen countertops - and a couple of broken foosball players. For a place that sleeps 10 - only having 5 coffee cups in the cupboard was a little disappointing. Management company was excellent to work with in addressing an access issue that really was no fault of theirs - but affected one of our nights - bravo. Overall a delightful little spot, away from the hustle of other places on the island, and a great home-base for activities in the area.

Spacious house

The best part of this rental is the spaciousness. There was room for everyone of us to do whatever we liked. The downstairs had lots of fun games. Our only criticism was only having one wine glass and two small glasses. . This seems crazy when you advertise it for 8 people. Such an easy fix for the Thanksgiving table.

Nice plenty of room clean .

Fabulous, just needs a broom and mop and if possible a full length mirror. No complaints and we will rent again, maybe the Virgin Island. Thank you!
