Spacious and perfectly appointed! Highly recommend!!

We have rented many times in Northstar as well as other areas of Tahoe and various coastal properties, so we have a lot to compare it to. This cabin was a PERFECT 2BR/2BA. It was very spacious with a large, comfortable couch, huge TV, fireplace, cozy blankets, with an open floor plan. Dining for 8 and a game/puzzle table to boot! Lots of games and puzzles provided. Kitchen was extremely well appointed - appreciated that there were spices, oils, Ziplocs, aluminum foil, a Nespresso machine, high end appliances, and PLENTY of dishes, silverware, bar ware, cookware, etc. (Sometimes you get to your rental and find very limited kitchen supplies with 4 plates, 4 bowls, 4 glasses, 4 sets of flatware…very annoying!). My daughter and I were thrilled with how well everything was organized, complete with labels and tags and instructions - they thought of everything! Great bedrooms with plenty of closet space, awesome blackout shades, spacious bathrooms with good products. Suffice to say, we loved this house and will be back!

Great place!

This is such a nice and cozy home! It's very conveniently located on the shuttle route to Northstar. This home has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The beds are very comfortable with nice quality linens. The house is super clean and the kitchen well stocked. We loved staying here and will definitely be back!

Great cabin

The cabin was in a great location. It was well stocked with all these essentials and was very comfortable. The king-size bed in the master was extremely comfortable! The barbecue worked perfectly. I would recommend this house to my friends.

Perfect!

This home has everything you need for your stay. Great location, comfortable, perfect for a small family or group. Loved my stay there with my daughter and grandchildren. Summer in Lake Tahoe is getting warmer and most homes like this one do not have air conditioning. This house has lots of fans to help cool down the interior, but maybe consider ceiling fans.

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was much bigger than it looked in the pictures and is in a perfect location. Very comfortable, homey and perfect for a long weekend of skiing at Northstar!

Ski Week Tradition

We’ve stayed at this amazing cabin two years in a row now for our family’s ski week. The proximity to Northstar can’t be beat. We love how spacious it is and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The living room is warm, with a very comfortable sofa to snuggle into as a family after a long day on the snow.

Love this cabin!!!!

I've rented many many cabins and condos in Tahoe area and this is by far the most well equipped! Literally everything you need at this cute cabin. Extremely comfortable, easy shuttle ride to the village, a true rental with the guest's comfort in mind. Everything we could possibly have needed was provided. We usually like to eat and order take out in the village to support the local restaurants. This time we were up during a snow storm so we did more cooking than usual and I was delighted to find the kitchen very well stocked with everything we needed (even had some S&P, oil and vinegar, and a few basics in the cupboard which i don't expect). Evolve team was very communicative and reached out in advance asking if we wanted the 2nd bedroom set up as a king or two twins (or other questions). Everything was easy and simple - exactly what you want on a vacation!

Wonderful stay this summer!

Our vacation at this property was great! We stayed for 6 nights, and although there was a hiccup with the water being turned off for our last day there, Denisse and the owner quickly remedied our inconvenience! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay!

We loved our time in the cabin at Truckee. My husband, myself and our 6 and 8 yr old children stayed for 3 nights and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The cabin was perfect for our needs. Nice, quiet neighborhood in the woods. Surrounded by trees. A little close to neighbors. The neighbors in the back have a hot tub and we could see and hear them while we were out on the deck. Nothing bothersome by any means but if you’re looking for absolute seclusion this probably isn’t the right place for you. The cabin itself is very clean and quiet. I always worry if noises will wake up the kids but there were no squeaks in the floors or stairs! The kids room is on the main level next to the front door. Master bedroom is upstairs. Master is large and and they master bath has a beautiful, big shower. Great water pressure throughout the house and hot water was very hot! The grill on the deck was clean and worked great. Pretty kitchen appliances, we just didn’t use them. TVs in every bedroom with all of the streaming services. Cell phone reception was great. There is no central air but the lower level was perfectly comfortable. The master bedroom was very hot when we first arrived but luckily we found a window a/c unit that was very easy to install and worked great to keep us cool. Also there are tons of fans and windows to let in the cool mountain air. Truckee is just a short drive away and had plenty of restaurants to choose from. Kings Beach is 5 miles away. Wish we could stay longer just to hang at the beach! The beach does not offer any umbrella rentals or beach chairs so if you can pack an umbrella I would as there is little shade. The owners were very easy to contact and very flexible and accommodating to our needs. We would come back to stay here in a heartbeat!!
