The new phenomenon, the customer service was very poor. I only stay there because it's across the street from my doctor's office. This is the second time they have given me room 1515 with an old broken bed. I asked for an extra chair and they said they couldn't provide it.👎

The room they initially gave us it was apparent that the bedding had not been changed since the previous guest. When I talked to the staff they were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely 5 stars for the front desk staff. The building is older and shows signs of age. Our “renovated” room the shower head leaked all night and made noise. It’s definitely not been maintained well. Overall I would give the hotel less than average rating the area is walkable. The staff was excellent

The hotel itself is dated so don't expect the latest or greatest but it is very well situated in the heart of El Rio district and walking distance to bars and restaurants. I recommend this hotel for its prime location and its affordability.
