The room was good. I’ll never understand why they don’t build hotels with better insulation for quietness, or why they put windows from the bedroom into the bathroom so that everyone feels awkward when someone uses the toilet. But this hotel was a fair price for the amenities.

Excellent hotel in all regards… a little far out from the DT area but that isn’t a bad thing… most taxis are anywhere from 100-150baht to go most places in town… close to some excellent outdoor markets for meals…. Nice pool… not on the beach but a short walk isn’t bad…

Tha Mai Ruak Hotel & Travel Guide
Within a 6-mile (10-kilometer) radius of the center of Tha Mai Ruak, through Travelocity's reservations page you can unearth a limited, yet excellent selection of places to kick your feet up. Tha Mai Ruak boasts 4 lodgings just a short drive from the center of town.
Our hotels found within manageable driving distance of Tha Mai Ruak include the Juntima Boutique Hotel and Cha-am Fishing Inn and Resort.
The Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin can be found about 20 miles (32 kilometers) outside of the main part of Tha Mai Ruak. An alternative accommodation option is the Cape Nidhra Hotel Hua Hin, which is about 20 miles (33 kilometers) away. Two other places to stay in this area include the Asara Villa & Suite and the Rest Detail Hotel Hua Hin.
The larger Central Thailand area is certainly worth visiting too. Visit Central Thailand's traditional villages, historic palaces and war relics and monuments and don't forget to relish the area's rural landscapes. Intrepid visitors might try cycling, beach combing and sunbathing in this part of Thailand.
8 miles (13 kilometers) to the southeast of Tha Mai Ruak modern travelers will find Nong Kae, where you can enjoy the Cha-am Beach.
