The good. Room is clean, spacious, and comfortable. It is pretty to look at and in a good location. Close to the national park and town for shopping and dining. The shower is nice with good water pressure and plenty of hot water.
The bad. The room is attached to a common use area and the walls must be made of paper because you can hear everything. People are up and moving at 7am and still going until 10p at least. From inside the room you can hear every word spoken, every door opened and closed, the dishes being handled, coffee maker, water running, etc. We listened to a woman singing Roxanne one night, then we heard all about the owners favorite coffee one morning and then a couple arguing the next morning. It’s like they are in the room with you.
The bed is a firm king and we both had sore backs.
The room temperature is inconsistent. Turn it up a little and the room was 82 degrees. Turn it down and we wake up to 65 degrees. And the bed comforter is thin and not very warm.
I would not recommend this room to anyone looking for a relaxing and quiet place.
If you like listening to people talk and other household noises maybe you’d like it.
