Family Vacation

I wish I could give more than a 5 star rating!! This house was perfect for our family of 10 adults and 2 one years old. Plenty of space to spread out, huge kitchen/dining area for meals and nightly games, big living room for tv watching and the best of all was the pool and deck area that we enjoyed every day. Host was very pleasurable to deal with on any questions we had. The pool guys were amazing and friendly when they came on their day to maintain pool. Location was perfect and Crescent Beach is a must! We can't say enough positives about this property!!

Cousins Reunion

For our annual cousins reunion, we had nine women age 69 to 97. It is rare to find a house with four bedrooms on the ground floor, which made this house an excellent choice (3 en-suite, 1 with full bath in hall), and an additional bedroom and bath upstairs. There is only one full bath that has a combination tub/shower (which unfortunately did not hold water) and the others have shower only. We had to be mindful of the various changes in floor height from the kitchen/dining level to the lower pool/living area, and through some of the doorways, but we did adjust to them. The deck was wonderful, and we enjoyed the ease of fishing directly from it! The house location is in a beautiful neighborhood and only a couple of miles from old town. Our family likes to sit around the dining table to talk, play cards, etc. The hard wooden chairs made this uncomfortable, but we used pillows to make it work. Also, one of the chairs had a loose leg, so we moved it away to the side. Overall, a very enjoyable stay!

Perfect location and stunning views

We were in St Augustine for our daughter's wedding in town. The house was a perfect "base camp" for the week. Plenty of space for bridesmaids to get ready and easy access to downtown - although allow time for the bridge going up and down. The sunsets were special. We saw plenty of wildlife from the deck and osprey catching fish feet away.The house itself has everything we needed. We had a couple of minor issues but the response was almost immediate! The check-in was easy and everything went really smoothly. We would certainly book again

Awesome place

We had 5 couples share the property for a surprise bday party. It was a perfect site. Close to downtown...easy uber ride. We will be back again. Thanks to our host. Responded quickly to every question we had.

Anniversary/Birthday

We have come up every year for our celebration and we usually have 5 couples. We were lucky to get this fantastic proprty as our Air B & B canceled 3 weeks before our trip! I was worried it was too far from downtown, but Ubers solved that! Having All the bathrooms was a plus, and the layout of the house was perfect! We are going to rent it again next year!!

sunset dreams

Place was as advertised, very clean, good beds, great deck with sunset and bird views. Good kitchen utensils. Only downside was multiple steps and levels within the living areas of the house so you had to be careful walking, especially at night. Managers responded immediately to need for more blankets during cold snap. All in all great stay.

Cockroaches (dead and alive) in house. Suggest you tell people fireplaces do not work Outside post lights never worked (notified manager) never heard back. Suggest you tell people garage not to be used. Deck lights never worked (notified manager) Master bathroom shower was dirty.

Sunset Dreams lived up to wxo

Sunset dreams was an amazing property. The house was immaculate and nicely redone. Nothing beats the outdoor area. We spent many nights on the deck watching the wildlife and enjoying the sunset. We also saw a manatee a couple of times. If you were looking for a relaxing property, this would be the one for you! The house accommodates many comfortably. Would recommend this house!

Family reunion

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The separation of the bedrooms allowed plenty of privacy. The kids loved the pool. We loved watching the sunset from the great deck and several of the guys even caught fish off the deck. The house worked great for our family. The house was very clean with one exception. The ceiling fans in the living room need a thorough cleaning but I would definitely recommend this house!

Great Location

Sunset Dreams is in a great Location and close to many restaurants and attractions. We enjoyed the Beautiful views from the spacious deck. The home is large and accommodated our family of 11 easily. The floor levels change throughout the house so you need to be aware of your step so you do not trip and fall. The house is old and some areas have been updated as you can see by the pictures online. The swimming pool has not been updated and needs to be resurfaced. The upstairs apartment also has not been updated. We had a fun time but were disappointed with the overall maintenance of the house.

Great house for big families

My family of 12 loved everything about this big house! With ages ranging from 10 to 70+, there was something for everyone. Plenty of room to spead out. And the upstairs suite offered some privacy. Kids loved the pool, and the adults loved the huge deck where we could hang out, share a meal, and watch the wildlife. Speaking of wildlife, if you enjoy birdwatching, you won't find anywhere better. A highlight of our trip was having a daily front-row seat to dozens of wood storks, egrets, herons, and more. It was thrilling to see those birds in their natural environment while we enjoyed a drink and watched the beautiful sunset. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and I'd highly recommend this property to anyone with large families who want a large yet cozy place to relax and enjoy St. Augustine.

60th birthday celebration

Great property for large family gatherings. Great space and lots of privacy with the 5 bedrooms. Beds slept great which is a huge plus when traveling. Outside area was a great way to relax and enjoy time around the pool. The deck and views were also great. Spent every night out watching the sunset. Would highly recommend.

Perfect for our wedding week vacation

Placement of bedrooms/ baths gave everyone a nice private area. We used the large family room with powder room access daily. Pool and deck perfect. Especially loved bed swing for napping. The different floor levels took a bit of getting used to though. Location great for Lightner Museum wedding, beaches and lighthouse too!! Would recommend to everybody!! Thanks so much!

Family Celebration

Perfect house for a large family! The rooms with ensuite bathrooms were very comfortable and convenient. Plenty of communal spaces that we enjoyed together, but also comfortable spaces that were private in case we needed time alone. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking and grilling. Loved the ping-pong table and corn hole set. The back deck was the best part. In the mornings, we enjoyed watching and hearing the variety of birds that visited. At night, the sunset views were amazing! The neighbors were friendly and we just loved the St Augustine area for local food and fun activities. Will chose this property again when in the area!

Cousins’ Trip / Annual Get-Together

Stayed Mon. afternoon 4/8 - Fri. a.m. 4/12/24. Beautiful property, well-stocked, and well-maintained. Convenient location. The 5 bedrooms, 5 full baths and 2 half baths gave our group of 7 adult women plenty of room to gather and all be together or enjoy quiet solitude if we wanted. We took advantage of the well-stocked kitchen and large kitchen dining table for several of our meals and just sitting around enjoying the lively conversations and laughter we so look forward to every year when we get together. Although we did not personally end up using the pool we spent time both eating at and lounging around the large table outdoors in the covered part of the deck and even enjoyed sitting on the open part of the deck around the fire pit one evening under the stars. Nice sunsets…especially picturesque the one evening when the creek ended up being at high tide. Two caveats: *If anyone in your group plans to use the black futon in the one sitting area for sleeping, please note it is pretty much equivalent to a twin size bed and is *hard*. I found it more comfortable to sleep on the couch right outside that area in the large living room. (Its own half bath was very handy.) *You will want to watch your step as there are several places throughout both the house and the deck area that are at a step-up, step-down level or have a little lip or edge. Nice design element adds to the beauty and character of the house; just be aware of your footstep! Thank you for wonderful wk!
