Wonderful home, great location
We had a great time at this house in late June / early July 2024. There were four adults, three kids, and a dog, and the house was perfectly sized for us. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedrooms easily accommodated everyone, and despite what another review says, the temperature was totally fine, even on 90+ degree days. It’s also nice having a large deck with a table big enough to accommodate everyone for outdoor dining in the summer.
The location is exceptional—walking distance to Glaze Meadow pool, playground, pickleball, and tennis, and easy access to the sixth fairway of the GM golf course for the kids and dogs after dinner. The house is also on a quiet street, so the kids could easily go out scooting and biking with minimal supervision.
As indicated in the listing, the bedrooms have queen and twin beds, not kings, and the mattress in one of them is quite soft. The kitchen has most of what you need to cook, but could use another serving bowl or two. There is also very little food storage (eg, Tupperware) for leftovers. The internet is great, but we had trouble with the smart TV; luckily, we packed a Roku stick for backup that worked fine. Also, the washing machine was broken, which isn’t tenable for a weeklong trip with kids, but the property manager quickly engineered a solution, obtaining a replacement within about 36 hours. Thank you! Finally, the house has several bikes available for use in the garage but no helmets, so you’ll need to rent those if you want them.
