I’d recommend driving the half hour and stay in Woodstock rather than staying here. Rooms are motel style in two separate buildings. The rooms are quite dated, carpets are old, desk and chair belong in a dorm room.

Room was clean and very nice compared to the property. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parked with ease. Only complaint is that there was no bottled water in the room and the vending machine was sold out of water and anything without carbonation. Other than that the stay was great.

It's very private and close to nature, the cabin and surroundings were as clean as a nature retreat can get. Firewood for both the wooden stove inside and the fireplace outside was provided, which was amazing for someone who's not used to being in nature. As it was still cold, even freezing, when I was there, there were barely any bugs around!I'd have loved the convenience of a washroom in the cabin, but the shared one was close and we'll maintained. The warm water was nice after a cold night!The host was easy to communicate with and was very helpful with everything that came up during my stay.The only thing that was a bit scary was coming down from the loft-like upstairs bedroom, coordinating how to get down from there was complicated as the stairs are very steep.Thanks for everything, and if I want to book a cabin again, I'll definitely book this one!"
