Comfort with Care

Clean, comfortable, with thoughtful amenities and accessories for a relaxing stay. Plenty of towels and plates. I ended up visiting solo but the home is perfect for a family or small group. Lots of space. Great bed and great water pressure. The area felt secure and the neighborhood was very well taken care of and quiet even with a good number of neighbors. Saw bears, turkeys, and other wildlife just walking around the area. I had one issue with the fireplace not starting and a service technician was out to the property quickly and was very professional. Only other thing I can think of I believe one of the kitchen outlets for the toaster was not working but there were plenty others. Internet and phone service was solid and I got plenty of work done. Really appreciated the kind gift basket as well.

Nice place

Overall the place was nice enough. Unfortunately, the pictures were a bit misleading. The bathrooms in the cabin were very outdated with part of the floor missing or some sort of mold or mildew on it. The living room area is pretty small and not a lot of comfortable seating and the stairs are very steep! Also, if you have pets beware that there is no grassy area for your dogs without walking to other cabins yard areas. However, it served its purpose and we all had a good time. The kitchen table is nice and big. The beds were decently comfortable. We had a good time overall.

The worst fall family VRBO

This house is falling apart. The front bathroom and kitchen area are sinking from water damage; you can see it from the second floor. The floors tilt towards the stove and sink in, showing signs that the plywood is damaged. We had to have maintenance come in and try to fix the primary and lower floor shower handles because they were almost impossible to adjust. The upstairs water handle, most of the time, would stay on. There is also mold on the linoleum flooring and wood baseboard from water damage. The linoleum was crinkled and peeling in both bathrooms. The cabin write up did not mention the deep, uneven stairs down to the third level. The first step is more profound than the rest because they started it below the floor joist. The floor to the stairs had metal sticking up from the transition to the stairs. Walking out of the deck, you can see where the owner has temporarily fixed the 30-foot high deck by bowing on the original 6x6s that hold up both decks. These additional 6x6s start bending under the deck's weight and are cemented into place haphazardly. There is very little closet space; the beds are cheap, where you sink in and can't move. The loft bed had to be fixed twice. The bed cover had a massive blood spot. The corners of the bathrooms had significant dirt build-up and needed to be cleaned appropriately. The couch sinks back, and the sitting area poorl furnished, it' unwelcoming. The management was very responsive, and the maintenance was great. DO NOT RENT CABIN

Property in serious need of repairs images not recent

The images online do not match current condition. It appears the cabin is having settling issues on the hill and improper maintenance. The flooring is coming apart throughout. There are half inch gaps and bowing in the flooring throughout the first floor and basement. Trip hazzards everywhere including stairs. You can see where additional supports were recently added to keep the house up. Even the wood paneling on the wall is cracked throughout. The Ceiling in the basement has lots of damage and spotty repairs. The shower is either cold or scalding hot and valves don't close properly. Drain plugs missing. There are dark stains in the basement bathroom corners and curtain. The toilets are the smallest I have ever used. The towel holders were missing in the basement bathroom but the metal brackets were still there. The lighting is too low and some light switches and fixtures did not work. All furniture was stained. If it was raining I would be afraid it would slide down the hill. You can not fit more than one vehicle and even parking is on steep incline.

Cute cabin

Had a wonderful vacation with my kiddos. Close proximity to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and all the fun attractions. The house has a very nice hot tub and game room. The driveway is a little hairy, luckily we only had on vehicle. Towels, bedding, dishware, toiletries, cleaning supplies and detergent were provided which was nice. House was clean with two nice decks facing the woods.
