The room was nice. However upon arrival we pulled up to valet and nobody was there. We waited and finally went to concierge for assistance. So we pay 50 to valet park and the next day they bring car to us covered in bird poop. Didn’t say a word to us. We had to clean it all off paint and windshield. So for $50 obviously not worth it!!!!

Valet parking wasn’t the easiest. When I got there, there was only one person working the valet area. We had to wait awhile to even get to the valet person because there was so many people there and no one was helping the guy to get the car info for valet. I didn’t feel safe walking into the hotel, because I was worried about my vehicle. When we needed it the next morning, it was super fast and ready when we walked outside. I wasn’t too impressed with the price of valet. Seemed like it was way too much for my car to be parked outside. Unfortunately noise from other rooms were very loud in our room. This might not be something that can be addressed due to the age of the hotel, but it was frustrating because noise from the shower in the other rooms were very loud when we were trying to sleep. I’m not sure we would stay here again.

Some suggestion- for the price of parking would be nice to get assistance with bags or at least help with opening heavy front door. AC vent in restroom could use some cleaning. Blow dryer definitely needs cleaning/disinfecting — sticky to touch, grimy. Overall comfortable stay. For those who appreciate a firm bed this will deliver. Not so good for recently replaced hip. Clean. Friendly staff.

The staff was very friendly. The hotel is decorated quite nicely. The beds and pillows were very soft. The bartender was friendly and happy to give information in regards to the hotel amd it's haunting. Breakfast was worth the price, and had a large array of choices!

Really loved this hotel. Rudy checked us in & was amazing. It happened to be our anniversary & he gave us the option of a room on a higher floor or bigger room. We chose the bigger room. It was beautiful & charming. We had our pups with us & it was a corner room which was perfect...they sometimes bark when people walk by which is kind of nerve wracking but they were good & loved the room also. Was bummed we only stayed for the night as I would have loved to have taken a bath in that bathtub. We did have issues with our keys the day of checkout. We wanted to see the River Walk prior to leaving, but due to the time change we were locked out a bit early. The front desk had their team up there by the time we got back. So it was very smooth even with the small hiccup. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 was the valet. We had a lot of stuff & two dogs. The valet was awesome, but it stressed me out having to valet & get everything on the cart & grab everything & over excited pups, since we had just drove from Houston. Anywho, we tipped the valet later in cash, instead of the app. The next morning when we called the valet it took over 20 minutes to get the car, which is fine but when viewing the app we started as number 4 on the queue & then dropped to 2 but then it reset & showed as if we had picked up the vehicle & there was no way to call for it again or reach out to them. We were checked out at this point he came about 5 min later. All in all lovely stay. Will be back.
