"The hotel was absolutely wonderful, and was perfect for our stay. One thing to note is that it is quite steep between the bus stop and reception, if you have difficulty with slopes consider taking a car or travelling with someone who can help. "You get what you pay for, and this is one of the least expensive hotels in the city, so my expectations were realistic. Travelocity-listed accommodation options that aren't far from the business district of Saas include the Sunstar Boutique Hotel Albeina Klosters and Sport Swiss Quality Hotel.
The Sporthotel Valsana is about 12 miles (19 kilometers) outside the main part of Saas. Another place to stay is the Intercontinental Davos, which can be found about 7 miles (11 kilometers) away. The Piz Buin Hotel along with the The Excelsior Hotel are two other recommended accommodation options worth checking out in Saas.
The wider Southern Switzerland region is definitely worth checking out as well. Get to know Southern Switzerland's traditional villages and fortresses or fall in love with the area's forests, mountains, valleys and alpine meadows. In this area of Switzerland adventurous visitors may partake in snowboarding.
14 miles (22 kilometers) from Saas, you'll reach Arosa, which is where you can visit Arosa Ski Resort and Ski-Club Arosa. Simply because you and your family are visiting somewhere new, shouldn't mean you can't enjoy your passion for a day watching sport. You'll find AFG Arena 45 miles (69 kilometers) to the northwest of Saas. Sleep right by the sporting action at the Hotel Säntispark or the Sporting Hotel.
If you are traveling through St. Gallen - Altenrhein Airport and desire to book a room nearby, have a look at Hotel Heiden Swiss Quality or Best Western Hotel Rebstock.

"The hotel was absolutely wonderful, and was perfect for our stay. One thing to note is that it is quite steep between the bus stop and reception, if you have difficulty with slopes consider taking a car or travelling with someone who can help. The room we had was very accessible as was the restaurant and reception area, so if you are comfortable with hills, have a car, or help for the slope from the reception to bus then it will be a very good base in the mountains of Liechtenstein. There are stairs between the bus stop and reception for visitors able to use them, but for me, with my rollator, I walked along the road for access."
