Escape to Safe Harbor Brady Mountain on beautiful Lake Ouachita in Royal, Arkansas! This lake retreat is a boater's paradise and one of the cleanest, clearest lakes in the country. Bring your own boat or rent one from the nearby marina-we offer 2 styles of pontoons, including double-deckers perfect for family fun and lounging with friends.

Spend your days cruising the 42-mile shoreline, exploring one of the many scenic islands or swimming in crystal clear waters. In the evenings, unwind back at the cabin while the kid's roast marshmallows by the fire. Visit the on-site camp store for lake toys, gear, and souvenirs to make your stay even more enjoyable.

Located within walking distance of Lake Ouachita and close to boating and marina services. Enjoy a round of disc golf or basketball/pickleball on our courts.

Guest is responsible for leaving the cabin in the same condition (with normal usage) as at check-in. The registered guest will be charged for any and all damages to the room found during or after departure.

Very nice place

Very clean and very spacious for a family of 6. Plenty of parking for 2 vehicles and a pontoon boat trailer. VERY cold AC, only issue was no WIFI and the cell service is bad.

Well stocked, clean, AC was great, lots of space and great outdoor area. If there is one thing that could be better - the WiFi. We could never connect well, not that it’s necessary but it does make it easier when traveling with children and phone service was not great there so Wi-Fi would have been a plus! It won’t stop us from staying there again!!

Brady Mountain

We have stayed at this property many times over many years. Sometimes in this cabin and sometimes in others, depending on the number in our group. Before and after it became part of Mountain Harbor Resorts and certainly before having to rent it through VRBO. Having to pay extra fees for the same property without any extras, is aggravating! In the past, a note was left with the laundry bag allowing us to mark what was needed that day, such as what towels, soap, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, etc. Not anymore. A few upgrades, such as towel racks and hooks in the small bath and kitchen would be simple. WiFi access in the cabins would make paying the extra fees more palatable. Will we continue to rent this property, certainly because we love Brady Mountain and Lake Ouachita.

Lake Getaway

We always love our stay at Lake Ouachita. The property was great except that there are no towel hooks/bars in any of the bathrooms, nor the kitchen. A no-no especially at a lake property. House accommodated 6 adults, but only four chairs for the dining room table. Since table was bar height, we couldn't even add a "camp" chair. House very spacious and we did enjoy staying. A minor issue with getting fresh towels. There were none in the kitchen upon arrival. Despite some of our issues, we would stay again. Thank you!

Beautiful Cabin on Lake Oauchita

This was so peaceful and relaxing for us. We had so much fun being “unplugged” for the week. We ended up having to leave a day early due to a family emergency, but I cannot say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff were. We will definitely be back. The TV continued to go out (DirecTV lack of signal) but that didn’t deter us from having a great time. Having a sign on the road leading to Cabins H thru J would have been helpful! But we found it!!

Mini vacation

Such a beautiful area! The cabin was perfect for our weekend soccer tournament in Hot Springs. It was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. We cook at the cabin but had coffee waiting for us. Plenty of towels and loved the soap, shampoo and conditioner. We will be back! Thank u.
