We have stayed in Sara’s Shacks before so we weren’t concerned. Unfortunately we should have been concerned. We arrived after dark. Once I got into the house to turn the outside lights on, we found that the front porch light was burnt out and the back porch lighting was very poor. I messaged Sara about the front porch light and she messaged back immediately “I’ll send someone over to change the front porch light, sorry about that.”The next night we came back and no light. I messaged Sara “Again we came home after dark and the front porch light still does not work. It certainly is a challenge for my husband to get into the house since he uses a cane.”The next reply from Sara was 2 days later with our check out instructions.Very poor communication and, in my opinion, disregard for us as a customer. Overall, the house was clean with minimal amenities. Would we stay at a Sara’s Shack again? Absolutely not.
