Unique Stays were great to work with and very prompt to respond. Everything was done via the app so that was super convenient. The cabin was cute and suited our needs as we were out and about to Chattanooga during the day. Just note that the pillows are flat so if you like fluffy pillows, bring your own. If you want privacy, the back door and the door going outside upstairs do not have blinds or curtains. Also, note the house is not quiet as you can easily have a conversation from the upstairs to the downstairs, you can hear the pipes anytime someone was in the shower or flushed. The ice maker was so loud at night that we had to turn it off. The beds are comfy, the cabin is clean, great front porch, and a nice backyard area with a fire pit.

Memorial Day Weekend getaway

There were 2 couple's that stayed for a long weekend. We had a great time. The cabin is in a great location for easy access to attractions, but also off the beaten path so it was private.

Spectacular location

This cabin was part of a small group of cabins that were quiet, beautiful and on great property, within 15 mins of Lookout Mtn attractions. We loved the cabin, just the right size for our group, plenty of parking. Hope to return in the future.

The 70's called and wants their livingroom furniture back!

I also have VRBO rentals and these are maintanance issues i found that I would take care of for my guests comfort.Window blinds broken up or not working, light bulbs out, sink stopper in bathroom sink broken, towel bar loose, gas fire place not working, lousy pillows need replaced. The buillding is nice but poor maintenance, and when I notified management they did not care to address my needs but told ME to take pictures of the blinds. We were there for 5 nights and they made no effort to fix them.

Fantastic stay

What a gorgeous peaceful property! Very quiet, rural setting. Cabin was clean, a little unfresh odor as we entered, but understandable if it hadn't been used recently. It wasn't over-powering, and vanished once we opened the doors and windows for a little while. The little cul-de-sac that the cabins are in is such a peaceful setting. The cabins aren't right next to each other, so you still feel a sense of privacy even if the other cabins have guests. As for the cabin itself, I was extremely happy. Plenty of cookware, dishes and utensils. Small coffee pot as well as a Keurig were there to use. Cabin was clean, towels and bedding were fresh smelling. Beds were very comfortable. Extra blankets were available in each room in addition to the ones already on the beds. Bathrooms were clean. Complaints...and I hesitate to use that word because these are such minor things. The sign to the properties is small and sits back from the main road a bit too far to see until you're driving past it. I noticed mouse droppings in one drawer in kitchen, owner notified. The outdoor seating areas could use some sweeping and de-cobwebbing on a regular basis. No grill at this cabin. Grill utensils on porch, so another guest may have moved it to their cabin to use? All cabins look very similar, hard to distinguish which is your rental upon arrival. Clearly stated cabin numbers on listing, cabin itself, as well as in correspondence emails sent before your arrival. Overall, THRILLED!!!

Beautiful cabin in the woods

Lovely property and good time. A couple of notes: Almost ran out of toilet paper so needs more supplies. Beds are super high. Had to climb in and out of the beds only to find a step stool in the closet on the day we were leaving. But, and this was bad, no sheets on the bed!!! What was that? There was a fitted sheet on the mattress and a comforter. That is all. I found a blanket the put it between the comforter and me but I was really uncomfortable with that situation. Would not come back if that was not fixed. Everything else was great. My grandbaby (6) saw a deer for the first time and caught fireflies which he had never seen. We saw bats that we enjoyed. Beautiful area.

Family approved.

It was a great get away for my small family. My 4 year old loved the big beds. Quick 15 min drive to the grocery store for some breakfast food- fully stocked kitchen to serve. Quick drives to all our destinations. Beautiful views across the street. Thank you.

Nice Stay, Good Times with Friends

We had a pleasant stay overall. The location is great and very quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The contactless check-in process was smooth and convenient. However, there were a couple of small inconveniences: the WiFi connection was not working properly / not stable and kept buffering, there was no shower gel provided, only shampoo and conditioner, and it would have been nice to have kitchen paper towels available. Despite these minor issues, we enjoyed our time here and would consider staying again.

Disappointing keep looking for another getaway.

I normally do not give a poor review, but since the same issues keep being said and no improvements I felt it was necessary. Obviously the owner does not care enough about people saving up all year to take a vacation to make improvements to their property. I went from being disappointed to angry on the condition of the property. Do not believe the images especially on the outside in the common area as it does not exist. The house itself has 3 bedrooms that are comfortable but that’s where the good stops. The decor downstairs looks like a movie out of the 50’s only worn and stained throughout. The kitchen starts with a rusty refrigerator, range hood and stove. The rust obviously is from moisture which could explain the musty smell when coming into the house. The dishes are so stained, flat wear so worn and pots and pans that should be trashed. We used plastic we purchased. The dining room table has glitter glued into the table along with wood stains. Covered it with table cloth as did not feel clean to eat on. Blinds are falling apart with many blades missing. The outside furniture is dirty and looks like they might break if one actually used it. The furniture on decks are mismatched kitchen table chairs! This house needs to be taken off the site until improvements are made and brought up to standards. Please look further before booking this house. FYI a similar review was submitted in Feb 2024 but obviously nothing was done. I had even asked to owner about this.

Enjoyable Stay

The cabin overall was a nice place to stay while on a short vacation to the Chattanooga area. The 10-15 min drive from Rock City area provides a great view of the valley from the top of the ridge. Driveway is right off main road but the cabins sit far enough off the road that it's quiet and private. There are 5 cabins that can be rented separately that are basically in a row as advertised. All the other renters at the time of our stay were friendly and quiet. The three bedrooms were nice and beds were comfortable. The beds sit up very high which was not a problem for us but could be for some. This cabin has the potential for 5 stars but I gave it 4 due to some minor issues that need to be tended to and the fact that there were only 2 pans to cook with and they were both in terrible condition. Non-stick completely wore out and handle about to fall off. Overall good cabin and would stay here again.

Great layout, needs better upkeep

The cabin layout was great. Two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs worked perfectly for us. Loved the two decks, although the chairs were cheap and uncomfortable. The firepit in back was nice to make smores on. Kitchen had all the necessities, although we pulled a bowl out of the cabinet and it had dried rice stuck to it. The cabin needs a deep cleaning top to bottom. Dust/cobwebs on the ceiling, on the floor along with dead bugs and lots of dust on the air intake right next to the kitchen. First thing you see when you come in. A faint musty smell and the bedding and living room chair were damp from humidity. After leaving our clothes out, they too, were damp. The glider on the porch is a good idea, but not in the best shape. Same with the gazebo in the center area. Not very inviting.
