I liked that everything we needed was within walking distance. The room was very nice. I didn't like that it took about 2 hours for someone to come up to our room to collect our luggage and deliver it to the valet station, i made numerous calls and because of this we were late to have breakfast with our family. I also didn't like that we couldn't open a window to air out our smoking room.

We have stayed at the Eldorado many many times and usually have a great experience. This time however it was a rough time. The check in was great quick and easy! The room was very dated, the cabinets creaky and one about to fall off. When we got into the room the temperature was a little warm. After adjusting the thermostat down about 4 degrees to 68, we set our things down and went off the find food! A few hours later we returned to the room to find it Extremely hot. 78 or hotter the thermostat said 72 but we were sweating. After about 2 hours of our small children sweating and having a hard time falling asleep they finally went to bed. Only to be awaken by what I can only guess was 3 or more rooms worth of college kids having a party in the hall for 20 mins or so before one of the neighbors finally spoke up and got them to go away. About 2 hours later (midnight ish) we were all awaken by the pounding on a neighbor’s door for several minutes, which was followed by a short phone call on speaker phone. After getting up and asking the girl to find somewhere else to be, I realized the room was still 78 or so degrees. No amount of adjusting the thermostat or fan helped. Kind of a bummer all around way to start a vacation.

The property and inside the casino area were clean. The staff made use feel welcomed and very polite. The Pro’s… The room was clean and quiet. Was more than I was expecting to get for my money. The view was amazing for being a corner room. The bed was very comfy and sheets were so clean. The water pressure in the room was way better than some showers and tubs I’ve had at other casino’s. Con’s… Needed more lighting. The room was kinda dark and gloomy. Toilet was a tight fit with being right behind the door and sharing what little space there was with the shower. It took over 30 minutes to get the water high enough to run the jets in it. The 2 middle jets some flaws, one jet barely worked and the other bottom center jet works, just the cover piece for the little jet kept stretching my lower back cuz the cover piece was broken. Last… Need more coffee pods and sugar/cream. In our room there was 1 coffee pod and it was actually tea in the rack thing. Then there was only 2 packets of sugar and just a couple of other “sugar”s”. There was no conditioner at all. Can’t believe in order to get more coffee pods, you have to pay for them. That’s crazy, since other casino rooms give you as much coffee pods as you like along with as much sugar and creamer you may need for each cup of coffee. I would stay here again.

2 Star property at best

Bathroom had used soap still on the shampoo dispenser and a weird white substance soap scum or worse perhaps visible through the cheap anti slip. Was given a new room easily enough. 2nd clerk was helpful and kind. 1st was impatient and awkward just very stand offish not a front desk personality. Security there harassed my friend for being on the phone in my car longer than they thought appropriate for her protection alledgedly. Security glared at me when my elevator doors opened upon checkout to where I had to ask him if I could help him just a very strange exchange. I have never had an issue with security anywhere so I get the impression this is just their mode: overbearing for no reason other than wanted to be a police officer but failed the psyche exam multiple times and settled for security guard at a casino. Bartender at the 24hr cafe never acknowledged us then disappeared shortly after. Paid for the luxury level room lol not even luxury when compared to a remodeled motel 6 outdated and not in a niche type cute way which could be overlooked if the staff were better. Won enough to where I would gamble there again but never again would I stay on property two thumbs down
