There is a coffee pot but no filters, and a dish washer but no detergent. There is no cooking oil provided. There are minor issues, just things that you may want. There is convenience store close.

Comfort & Location

My husband and I spent a long weekend with my parents and had a perfect time. The location is convenient for driving to the area's attractions. The cabin was comfortable and clean. Everything we needed was available and working. Even though we saw how small the bathroom was when we arrived, it worked out fine and was not an issue. Both bedrooms have an area to get ready, and everything was perfect. The beds are comfortable, and the area is beautiful. We loved our stay. Thank you!!!

Great Blackhills Family Vacation!

My family had a wonderful time at the Cabin! It was very clean and nicely decorated. Beds and couch were very comfortable. Tv was nice and large. The fridge and beverage fridge were perfect for our 5 day stay. Bathroom is small, but sinks in bedrooms were helpful! Cabin is as advertised. Location is quiet and central to many activities. The local property contact, Blanche was very responsive and helpful. Great stay! We would definitely recommend to others!

Perfect Location for the family BH Vacation

Perfect 2 bedroom for a family. Trust me, sharing an expensive hotel room with your kids doesn’t compare. This didn’t cost much more and was the way to go. Location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. In 3 full days, we hiked Black Elk Peak, drove Needles, Iron Mt Rd, Custer Wildlife loop, Rushmore Cave, bikes 30 miles of Mickelson Trail, ate at the Alpine Inn, saw Mt Rushmore, did Bear Country and Reptiles Gardens… with a 2 and 3 year old. Perfect central hub for all of that. Great stay! Just book it!

Great location!

This house was perfect for our 5 nights in the Black Hills. Great location, close to everything we wanted to do. Very quiet, clean and had everything we needed. We grilled and cooked a few meals in the compact kitchen with no issue. We also made good use out of the counter top ice maker! While there are two bedrooms, the house may be a bit tight for more than 2-3 people but was perfect for two of us and our dog! The host was very responsive with good communication before, during and after our stay. We would stay here again.

This cabin can exceed your expectations. It's an excellent choice for those who like privacy and a quiet stay. This cabin is equipped with all you need for a comfortable vacation - a big TV in the living room and 2 smaller TVs in the bedrooms with lots of channels and movie library, 3 separate decks for the living room and bedrooms, and a lovely kitchen with dishwasher, serveware, and utensils, crockpot and other small appliances. There is a wet bar with a coffee maker, a tea kettle, and many types of glasses. The central cooling system works perfectly. WiFi has a good speed, we watched a live channel on Youtube without any problems. There is a gas grill there so BBQ lovers will enjoy their stay also. The cabin looks exactly as in the pictures. If you have any questions homeowner is happy to help. Rushmore Mount is just 10 mi from that cabin, and the beautiful lake with a beach is about 2 mi away. That area has 5G coverage with most companies. We really enjoyed the time we spent there and highly recommend this cabin for your stay.

Great little spot in the Black Hills - near everything!!

We loved our stay here. It’s nestled n the heart of all of the site seeing. Clean, great setup, backed into nature. Got to watch dear play in the front yard every morning. All the necessities. Great spot for a small family vacation!!

The Hideaway was a great place to stay. Close to many places, but quiet cabin in the hills. We got snowed in while we were here so spent three days in the cabin. Comfortable and had everything we needed.

Everything Listed

The location was desirable with Mt Rushmore and Sitting Bull Monuments within a short 20 minute drive. Badlands, Sturgis, Wall Drug, and Deadwood all a manageable drive for an easy day trip. Everything was as in the listing and the property manager made sure there was exceptional communication with a fantastic ease of check-in. 10/10 would stay again.

Amazing Setting

We were very impressed with this property! Well supplied, Comfortable and clean! We would definitely stay again. We enjoyed having our own yard, and being far enough away from other cabins, but close enough to walk over and meet other neighbors if they were open to that. Beautiful setting, friendly staff l. We visited with the on site managers outside.. very nice people!! Our dog enjoyed the “wilderness” and we enjoyed seeing deer early in the morning.

Honeymoon 2022

Hideaway Cabin was amazing location. The deer greeting us each evening was cool. The central location just outside Hill City was useful in visiting all the monuments, State and National parks and general site-seeing trips. The couch in the pictures is actually there and is very comfortable. The kitchen areas are ideal for whatever you want to cook. The little windows in the cabin are nice ways to greet the day. The patios were nice for breakfasts.

Wonderful Location

This place was excellent. Everything you needed and in a very peaceful setting and surroundings. Central to all you wanted to see in the Black Hills. Mt. Rushmore, 1880 Train, Custer State Park and more. Our host, Blanche, was excellent and answered any questions or concerns quickly. Would stay here agian in a heart beat.
