The property and surrounding areas were very nice, there was constant construction noises if our balcony was open even late at night, but owner was a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde: nice in the beginning then turned. We are two couples that traveled together in our late 50's and early 60's, and were verbally abused on the phone when one lady accidentally damaged the stove top glass (it was a cover, not a traditional type stove but should not have cooked on it) our error that I immediately let the owner know. I get a chewing out because we had the air conditioning set for our return from the beach (JQ came in to visit damage) and yelled at me for having the AC on at 20C? Said we were "blanking morons" or on drugs, neither is the case. Charged us on the deposit for not only the glass stove top (understandable) but for excess cleaning, "damaged" wall hanging, glass in garbage disposal, etc. Watch your security deposit, you may not get it back. An unfortunate turn, I have been all over the world from Hong Kong, Hawaii, and just back last year from Costa Rica, never had this type of harassment, perhaps because he was off his meds. This ruined a great trip to the area and local establishments (zip lines, restaurants, ATV, parasailing, scuba diving) I would not recommend this property for anyone.
