We walked down from our Airbnb just in time to catch the perfect sunset. Playa Maderas is one of the best beaches I've ever been to. A short and gorgeous walk down from Tacos Locos brings you to a secluded section with hardly any fellow beach goers in sight. You'll also find Matilda's where you'll get great burritos and cold cervazas.

After this banger sunset, we were driving back to town with our sunroof open. "This is a very convenient place to stay for dining and the beach! Our room at the end of the building closest to the beach has an unbelievable view that we loved! The downside of the view is that the music from town can be very intrusive. Just bring earplugs and enjoy! The description of the hotel says they have a bar and breakfast. There is no bar and the breakfast is offsite. It’s only a block or so away so not too much of a hardship but you won’t be having breakfast in bed. We had to change our reservation by a day and while I had difficulty with Hotels.com, this property worked with us which was GREATLY appreciated! Really lovely and convenient place to stay!"
