This is an extended stay hotel, so no housekeeping for a week. You can get clean towels/linens at the desk. The woman working then was very nice.

Check in not until 4 PM, and even if you get an early check in offer online, it's not honored. I had to wait 4 hours to check in, and there's no lobby to wait in. There's a bench in full sun in the middle of the parking lot, and that's where I was told to wait FOR FOUR HOURS while watching homeless people urinate across the street. They didn't offer to let me into the pool area to wait in the shade there. The bathroom fan was super loud, the furniture was dusty, and a metal end table was rusty. When I picked up the bath mat to throw in the tub at the end of my stay, the bottom was filthy, so I know the floors haven't been mopped. Be sure to plug the peephole with tissue, and be aware that you can see light around the entire door frame. I experienced a man yelling, "HELLO?" at the door across the hallway from mine for about 10 minutes at 2:00 a.m., so that was a fun little perk as well.

Arizona natives from Prescott and were severely disappointed when we checked in. We spent over $400 on a two night stay on what we thought was going to be a nice hotel close to the mall for our trip to the aquarium. Upon checking in, the woman was very nice, but we were told there was a pet fee of $75 and $5 per night for parking on top of the $400 we had already spent which I feel was Expedian’s fault. The floors were very dirty and the overall inside of the hotel was extremely outdated, definitely lipstick on a pig. The photos online are a catfish. The rooms are not as big as they seem online. There’s no complementary breakfast, no rollaway beds, and no extra pillows available. There was hair in the bathroom that was not mine and my son‘s feet were black within 30 minutes so cleanliness is definitely not there main concern. The bed was comfortable, but I highly recommend that you bring your own pillows! Pool was clean but the hot tub was dirty. Would not recommend this facility and will never be staying there again.

Ok stay for the price

There wasn’t anyone at the front desk when we arrived at 11pm and we were exhausted. We waited 15 minutes and thought we were going to have to sleep in the car. So relieved when she showed up. Said she was saying goodbye to a friend. She was nice though and lent me her phone charger so I forgive her. Then there was no one at the desk in the morning when we were checking out. Not sure what folks are doing but they are not manning the station.

They collected a $100.00 deposit at check in and only refunded $89.82. Their excuse was a $5/day parking fee, which was not noted when I made the booking on Expedia or mentioned when I checked in. The lady said it was in fine print on the check-in form I signed, which is of course inadequate and after the fact. Note that this hotel isn't in a congested downtown area, it's in stupid Tempe across from a shopping mall. An extra charge for parking is bait-and-switch nonsense. Be forewarned.

I just want to thank the wonderful staff led by Theresa,Kai,Rachel,Kevin and Jackie. This company knows how to hire. And this establishment is so well run and the rooms so perfect with everything working at peak performance! Never heard noise or encountered unpleasant neighbors! And if you need anything, this group makes you feel cared for and accommodated to the nth degree! Whenever I travel and see a Sonesta Suite I smile!
