We were in love with “The Northern Nest”!!! We would 100% book this place next time! It has everything you need and is very clean and private and cozy. It honestly was the best part of our trip!

The best time!

We had the most incredible time! Everything was perfect, from the communication with Peter, to the incredible spa-like smell, to the location. It was a perfect place to renew our wedding vows on the front porch and have a fire to toast 16 years! Thank you for everything! I have already recommended your place to friends and family and plan to be back again!

Cute and cozy tiny home!

It was such a gorgeous weekend at the coziest tiny home! I loved that the owner provided pots, pans, plates, etc. and many other things! It was the perfect size and we loved every minute of it! We even got to meet the owner’s two dogs and they were absolutely adorable. Would definitely stay again!

Every detail was thought through!!

What a gem! Surrounded by trees and stars in the most beautiful part of northern Michigan. The bed was super comfortable. Fun to experience a tiny house as my husband and I have talked about making our own. ♥️

Great & Charming Stay in Petosky :)

We had a fantastic stay in Petoskey, Michigan! The tiny-house was clean, cozy, and perfectly situated in the woods but still near all the charming local attractions. The home was well-stocked, with everything we needed to feel right at home. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure our stay was comfortable from start to finish. It was the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the area!

Experience living in a tiny house!

We had a great time experiencing "tiny house living" for a long weekend. The location was great and felt secluded, with everything just as described. We especially liked having everything we needed to use the firepit in the evening. We would definitely book again!

Quiet and Away From Everything

Wife and I stayed here for our first trip to Michigan. Cute little home was just under an hour away from the ferries to Mackinac Island and about 15 minutes to Petoskey. We enjoyed the peace and quiet in the evenings and had a surprise visit from a pair of dogs.

A Tiny Treat!

Have always wanted to stay in a tiny house and this was a spotless, secluded first one! Beautifully designed and tucked away in a quiet forest with views of green pine out every window made for a refreshing weekend away despite the rain. Peaceful and cozy

I stayed 3 nights at the Northern Nest, and it was stellarly clean, comfy and peaceful.. even with a couple of comic relief supplied by a couple of dogs who stopped by to visit every day. :) All the comforts of home, just in a smaller package! I'll stay again.

Perfect Tiny Getaway Home!

We had an excellent experience at this tiny home! It was just as perfect and clean as the pictures show. A lot of thought and care went into making this the perfect getaway. It’s within 15mins to downtown Petoskey, about a half hour to Harbor Springs and Boyne Mtn. We will definitely be back! Our host, Peter, was very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend!!!

Nice Little Slice of Northern Michigan Heaven

The Northern Nest, nestled on a lovely piece of property surrounded by maples and red pines, is just as described. It’s a clean, cozy space built for a couple that doesn’t mind climbing the ladder to access the oh so comfortable bed. The combination AC/Heating unit will keep you comfortable regardless of what Mother Nature is doing. And, everything you’ll need to enjoy a lovely campfire is provided, as well. We’ll be coming back for sure.
