The day before we were to arrive I received a message from the owner stating the house we rented was unavailable due to work on the pool. So I can not review this rental. However Carolina, the property manager found us another house, it did not have a pool but was very nice.

There's only a limited number of places to base yourself close to Pavones's center. Make sure you book ahead of time if you'd like to stay close to Pavones's action.

The Tiskita Jungle Lodge is nearest to the downtown area of Pavones and the only accommodation option within easy driving distance.

The Lapa Rios Eco Lodge is about 12 miles (19 kilometers) from the center of Pavones. If you would prefer another option, the Hotel Casa Roland Golfito Resort is located 18 miles (29 kilometers) away. San Vito is 30 miles (50 kilometers) north of Pavones and is where you'll find Wilson Botanical Garden and Dante Alighieri Cultural Center.
