We booked the property and had no issues, process was smooth and the communication was great.
Now for the review; the property is beautiful and the location is perfect, the staff however were less than helpful. Once we figured out where to check in it was clear I had interrupted the attendants day with her job. We negotiated the parking and the nightmare elevators (appears there are two that service that entire side of the building), there was a waiting line.
We finally made it to the unit at 3:50 and found our passcode didn’t work. This is where the fun begins; at 3:55 the cleaning lady showed up to clean the unit. We sat with all of our belongings and groceries for nearly two hours waiting, before you say “go back down to the pool/beach” read the above elevator comment (that alone would’ve been and hour plus).
Once we finally got in we found the unit still wasn’t cleaned properly and the cleaning lady returned a half hour later with “provided accoutrements”. Within the first hour we noticed water on the floor, this was coming up through the tiles from the A/C closet. Starting with the code and cleaning issues I’d been on the phone with Vacasa expressing my frustrations with which there we very apologetic and emphasized with my frustrations.
Looking past the issues we experienced both minor and more serious; the unit itself and the views are absolutely amazing. I also can’t say enough for the Vacasa crew, in particular Ashley. She was superb and very helpful.
