I liked that although they didn’t allow early check-in, we were still allowed to use the property facilities like the pool and game area. We got there about 12:30, so we stayed in the pool for a couple hours and walked to the beach easily from the back steps until our room was ready so we got much value for our one night stay. I also loved the grassed area and game area. Haven’t seen anything like that before. There was a super cute tiki bar by the pool and the staff was very friendly outside. My only complaint was the bathtub not being entirely clean, but it’s a tough job trying to get rooms ready for guests ready to check-in. So I understand. And there was also a bar missing on one of the railings over looking the pool. I have a 2 year old and he could definitely fit through it if he tried, I would get that fixed asap. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Our room never got cleaned when we were there, didnt get any clean towels, even when we asked multiple times. Pool bathroom was disgusting. Bar closed like 7 everyday, and that means you cant swim in the pool. Most pools you can swim til atleast 10. That would have been nice.

We stayed in the second floor so we just had to go down two sets of stairs to get to the beach. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because the stopper in the tub wouldn’t stay up. So while we showered there was water staying in the tub. But that’s the only problem we had with the room.

Terrible customer service. I booked and paid for a neachfront room but was given a room with the view completely blocked by palm trees. The front desk lady also issued a room key to a random guy with no concern for our security or privacy. Will never book at this property again!

The room was ok but the bathroom was not clean. It needs a good cleaning and a coat of paint would make a huge difference. John was very nice at front desk. I did see they were doing some renovations and you can tell that it is an old hotel. It just needs some freshening up. Paint would do amazing to make it look better. The location is fantastic and just steps from the beach and it had a very nice swimming pool. I also did not have a fitted sheet on my bed, and the beds were not comfortable, but that’s something I just dealt with with.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Even the tiki bar. But they need to figure out their billing system. I was told I would owe $60 after my deposit. Fine, but was told I was paid in full when I got there. When I went to check out, they said I owed the $60, then overcharged another $1.23. Very weird. Anyway, definitely an older hotel. But it was clean and we enjoyed the beach views and pool.

It's a 60 year old hotel and it shows. I'm sure it was the place to be in 1966, but It's a bit rundown now. Not terrible, but showing it's age. On the positive side, our room was clean, and it is right on the beach, so location, location, location. If you're looking for an inexpensive place on the beach, this will work.

Staff was so incredibly inconvenient called about getting new sheets due to sand and dirt being in bed they never came. Tried to call the front desk the phone nor clock did not work. Was told to check in at 4pm got there at 5:30pm room wasn’t still available, I wasn’t able to check in close to 8pm. The lady at the front desk was so unprofessional. Multiple people who was staying there was at the front complaining about multiple issues also.

So first off, this place has a perfect location, perfect beach access, away from the thousands at the big resorts and you can’t find a better spot on the beach. The public areas are nothing special, but I felt like it was definitely adequate. Now the room, this place is all concrete, the rooms are what you’d expect for this price range but overall the rooms weren’t bad…. Until I was woken up with a roach on my head at 5am… to the credit of the hotel, they took care of all resort fees and offered to move me to another floor, I’d have given this place a four star if not for my little friend that came to visit. Also the lady at the tiki bar saved this place from a one star she was so good!
