The pool was great and direct access to the beach was nice. Our room appeared clean when we arrived, a little outdated but again appeared clean. Once we had been down to the ocean and came back to shower and let the shower curtain down, Cockroaches fell everywhere, they were inside the shower curtain. We were on the top floor, no elevators which was horrible when we had to carry our luggage up and down. Parking is insane, they let none guest pay and park, the night of the 4th there was no parking in the main lot or over flow and staff told me oh it will clear out after the fireworks are over. Well that doesn’t help me, the guest who wants to get to the room to see the fireworks. I paid over $2,000 and had to wait for parking or always park in overflow the entire week we were there. I purchased roach killer for the room. We had towels the first day and they brought new ones every few days. I purchased my own trash bags, broom and dust pan to keep the room cleaned up because no one touched it other than towels every few days.

The building and room was very old, all was extremely dirty, l requested housekeeping and no one came to change beds, clean bathroom, floors plus the room had old rusted electrical cords/wires running under THE BED I SLEPT IN!?!, NOT HANDICAPPED ASSEMBLY, they only had 2-3 handicap parking plus hardly any spaces to park in, and WORST OF THEY TELL YOU WHEN YOU CHECK IN THAT WE ARE ONLY GOING TO JUST TAKE $100.00 from your account when you LEAVE, lt has been 10 days since I have returned and l have yet to receive my $100.00 back! PLEASE GET THIS MONEY BACK FOR ME ASAP!!!…..JLM

The door to our room was open when we got there mind you it’s 9:30 PM, the sheets were disgusting, and had stains and hair all over them. Housekeeping obviously never actually cleaned the roof. No extra locks to keep someone out if they wanted to break in. No hair dryer. Staff did not care about the door being open when we got there. They charged my card the day prior to check in, even though it was a pay at property reservation. Everywhere was sold out otherwise we would have left and stayed somewhere else.

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. There weren’t many pans m, etc., to cook with in the kitchenette but we weren’t told to bring any. The bathroom was clean but old. The room was nicely located to the pool and parking. The balcony wasn’t really kept up but it had a great view of the ocean and sunset. It was on the cheaper end of places to stay, so you get what you pay for.

Staff was amazing. The smell in the room was so bad I actually got sick in the parking lot. There was no way I was going to be able to stay. I did lose money to leave, but the staff was very helpful. I’m not too picky when it comes to a room on the beach. No bugs, clean, working plumbing and doesn’t smell is pretty much all I ask for.

If you got the 3rd or 4th floor you got the beach view but we had 2nd floor in front of us was pool so no beach view and sucked. We rented the hotel based on the reviews and wished we didn’t. They said the beds was nice and soft no they wasn’t. We checked out night early cause I couldn’t sleep another night on the beds also they call them beds queen size I just don’t believe them beds are queen more full size. I never had to stay at a hotel you had to pay for ice until this one. Love that it was on the beach and the pool. Family friendly

Only good thing was the closeness to activities such as the pier and the beach. This stay could have been better if we weren’t presented with attitudes from the staff , Lesley in particular. The attitudes presented by her and another front desk member really put a bad taste in my mouth. We had issues with our ac , which resulted in sleeping in a hot room where they tried to say it was just off. If the ac was just off we would have turned it back on. Even a front desk member came and flipped the breaker and it still did not come back on. A $50 gift certificate was presented which was a slap in the face after being told a refund would be issued. Again if it wasn’t broken, their worker would have been able to turn it on when she came in the room that night. Then the manager called the maintenance man who proceeded to say it was just off when he couldn’t get it to turn on either by pressing the buttons he had to take the ac apart so he lied. I don’t like how the customers were not listened to essentially and we were talked down too as if we willing chose to sleep in a hot room .

The staff was terribly rude, refused to help with any problems we had including the Wi-Fi that didn’t work. They blamed it on my phone and walked away the rooms look much better online than they do in person kind of feels like you’re staying in a jail cell. The coffee pot was missing parts and couldn’t even make coffee. I got a text notification saying that room service was going to be stopping by and they never showed up. Had to sleep on dirty sheets and full trash cans had gnats in it because they never showed up to change our trash bags.

The location is the best thing about this property. The pool looked nice although we did not use it. The beach access is super easy. Our room was Ocean view which was very nice. The check-in process was very simple, but the staff was not very friendly and did not provide any information outside of handing us a room key. The exterior was very old and rundown. The bathroom in our room desperately needs updating. The tub was not clean however, the sink and countertop have been updated and that part was clean and fresh. Our king bed was comfortable with clean sheets so that was a relief. They need doormats to wipe the sand as there is no carpet in the room. The small balcony had two chairs with a great view, but the AC unit was leaking onto the floor, causing a huge puddle with mildew, gross. The small tiki bar was a nice benefit, but the drinks are overpriced for the surroundings at that hotel. Our room rate was way too high, but we booked very late and it was the only thing left available in the area. It was a sufficient day for one night because we only used the room to shower and sleep. But I would not return to this property.

When we arrived the room was clean, however the cleaning staff did not clean our room again until the day before we left. That was 4 days of dirty sheets and dirty floor. We had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper. The shower as you leave the beach didn’t work and the shower at poolside was broken. This meant many guests were cleaning the sand off in the pool. There was a good inch of sand at the bottom of the pool.

Only positive is that it had 2 beds. Toilet had to be flushed 3 times to even get toilet paper to go down after one wipe. Air did not cool the room. Lights were very dim. Our cell phone flashlights were brighter. Balcony was disgustingly from the AC. Sheets were stained. They add on a $100 fee when you get there that is not mentioned. The lady at check in was rude and hateful to my husband and some other customers as well. Not enough parking. If you have to park in overflow, it’s across the street. 0/10 recommend.

Well, I was supposed to book a newly renovated room right on the water, but it clearly advertises a pool, which it does not have. Then it also advertises. It was supposed to include umbrellas and chairs, but it didn't. The worst part about the hotel was that it was, honest to God, a roach motel. It was so bad that they had to come and literally spray the room while we were in there. The bathtub was so dirty, so marked up, and so old that I was scared to get in it because I thought I was gonna be dirtier getting out of it than going in, so this hotel is definitely 100% false advertisement. The only thing good was that it was actually right on the beach.
