Great Stay

This was a great stay for us and the dogs. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was spacious and comfortable. The location is 5-10 mins from everything. We would stay here again.

Good kid house

After the malfunction of the code to the front entrance the stay was adequate. I do have to admit that it was child friendly which made our stay more enjoyable

old and tattered

first I booked thru VRBO and sent messages thru them. Vacasa manages the property says VRBO didnt send the messages. I spoke with someone from VACASA and they gave wrong entrance code. Sat at property 25 min before being able to enter. Jacuzzi- needed 12 inches of water and chemicals. No hose to be found. Maintenance came and started fill but left it to us to turn off water. Thru in some chemicals before full then left. I itched for two days after using. It was filled with plant droppings, which we skimmed) bottom was dirty, and double filter was dirty. Chose a house with jazuzzi on purpose and only used once. went to make smoothies, has 2 blenders, put ingredients in first one, leaked all over, gasket was old and brittle. dumped what was left in second blender and it leaked too!!!! Beds - one mushy the other hard. The house had plenty of linens, kitchen supplies(except functional blender), low on glass glasses, plenty of plastic) The overall ambiance is very much old Mexico and lovely. Place looks like owners have not seen it in years.l Multiple chips in drywall on corners, etc. Probably good for families and college kids. We will not stay there again.

Missed a couple things

When we arrived we had a hard time with the code & door lock situation, when I called to ask about it the gentlemen on the phone could not find my reservation! A little annoying after spending over $1000 for 2 days. We finally entered the property and it was clean and tidy. We didn’t lack any home amenities. As we started to cook and use the trash cans, we realized the trash cans outside had not been empty from the prior stay and it was the MOST terrible smell when we opened the cans. The trash cans being empty would have been nice. The pool was pretty chili, but there was a spa provided. We were pretty excited to use it until we opened the cover and saw that it was filthy! Scum on the sides of the spa and the water appeared to have a light brown/ pinkish hue with another terrible smell!! As we tried to continue to enjoy ourselves and bbq, we realized there was no knobs on the bbq and we had to light the bbq inside through the heating unit. I just think some things need to be working and clean if you decide to rent them out for use. In the evenings it was very warm inside the bedrooms and we couldn’t feel air coming through the vent in the master. Later I realized that a standing fan was placed in the bedroom probably for that reason. We also were not able to turn the air temperature down below 76 degrees. Overall it was “ok” and the general consensus was disappointment. I would not stay again.

Pictures are staged

This property looked really nice/cool online. When we arrived at the property, yeah it looked like the pictures but there was some heavy wear and tear on almost every aspect of the property: The door leading to the pool/backyard was hard to open The doorknobs were loose and one even fell off. The doors leading to the walkway (not next to the carport) could only open from the inside and was heavily worn out One or more dead insects in each bedroom Carport barely fit two cars, however there was room in the driveway to put a second and third car there. On the positive side: Neighborhood was quiet (probably mainly due to COVID reducing travel city-wide, but also because it's illegal to play outdoor music) Pool was a nice size and supported diving (forgot how much I enjoy diving) Beds were comfortable Lots of notes everywhere in the house (barely made the positive list) like for city-wide COVID policies, how to wash things, etc Contacting the correct people with regards to the property were hair-pulling stressful. Contact information from VRBO lead me to another company, but when asking them about my reservation, they didn't have my information and had to contact a third company. Was told at the end of each call I would get a call back shortly, but I did not hear back from that company until 3 days before my check in date.

Very quiet and private...

our stay was really nice. The pool was a hit with the kids and adults. The rooms were nice, the the kitchen dining area was perfect. Cannot complain about anything. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for nice getaway!

Renters beware

To anyone booking this house -- do a video walkthrough as you walk into the property to document anything that is broken or damaged. We have done a number of vacation rentals, and, as long as you leave everything in exactly the same condition you find it, you are OK. With this house, we were charged for something that had been damaged for who knows how long that we never touched.

Great house to stay with the family!

The house has everything you need to stay. We brought all disposable plates, cups, utensils, etc... but it had it all. Pool and the back yard is great! Nice house size, very open, easy to keep clean! Will definitely look to stay another time

Labor Day Family trip!

My husband and I stayed here with our two children and small dog and we had a very enjoyable stay! It was an easy check-in, the house was clean and had everything we needed for cooking and lounging by the pool. The pics do make the house look a little bigger than what it is but it wasn’t a big deal and was perfect for our family. The pool is big and the patio has great shade when needing a break from the sun. We would definitely stay her again!

Family weekend

A bit of a disappointment overall, compared with previous experiences. The AC was too cold and could not be controlled. The WiFi was not working, and a call to the agent was never returned. I eventually was able to troubleshoot it myself; found the modem unplugged. The network ID and password in the guide binder was obsolete; I found them labeled on the bottom of a router. Everything else about the house was satisfactory.
