A Stressful Night and Disappointing Our stay was defined by a complete communication breakdown and a lack of basic hospitality, making it one of our most frustrating vacation rental experiences.Access Crisis on Arrival: Our trip began with a 20-minute lockout at 10 PM. We were sent an incorrect access code and could not reach the host. We had to call VRBO support multiple times and text three different numbers before getting a response. The communication that finally came felt robotic and impersonal, as if it was from an AI. This was an unacceptable and stressful way to start our trip.· Bedding Issues: The master bedroom sheets were frayed and worn. The bed itself seemed smaller than a listed Queen size.· Missing Essentials: There was no coffee, no ice, and the towels provided were surprisingly small and inadequate.Final Thoughts: The combination of a late-night lockout, impossible communication, and missing basics showed a severe lack of guest care. We choose vacation rentals for comfort and reliability, but this stay failed on both counts. We will be booking a hotel for our next trip.
