Confusing Check-in/Pretty Clean/Convenient Location
Things were difficult from the beginning - the last time I'd used Vrbo, I'd read, then signed the contract via Docusign, and I'd gotten the entrance codes via email days before, which made it easy for me to forward it to the three other families meeting us.
This was much more difficult. First, the contract was sent via some email - I did not sign it, but checked the box that I did. (?) Then, they wanted a picture of my license (which I did not do before), and told me to reply with the pictures. I did, not really paying attention. They did not receive it, and I saw the receiving line of the "reply" - it said "Do not Reply". So I looked at the sending address, and tried sending a new message to it. That didn't work. So I contacted them AGAIN, and got Lucas, who was nice enough to give me his personal email - that went through. They needed something else, and I had to use Lucas's email again to answer. This seems a little weird
Flying from California, not knowing the entrance codes, I was uncomfortable. Turned out I had reason: when I asked for the codes, I was told I would receive them 40 minutes prior to our checkin. As we were flying and had limited access to communication, I got a little anxious. I was told that the email would be automatic. I got the gate code, instructions for opening the front door, but no door code. When I contacted American Star, they sent a flippant response that the info was in the previous text (if it was, would I be asking for it again?)
